Walt's Disneyland Utopia

The
original Disney Mafia Godfather is back with his latest Disney
installment, Walt Disney's Utopia, an excellent traditional Magic
Kingdom park that mirrors the traditional hub layout but doesn't damper
the quality at all...
We start our journey, of course, down Main Street USA, a harkening
back to the turn of the 20th century, when the electric light was
replacing the gas lamp and the horse-drawn carriage was starting to go
horseless. Aero has moved the Haunted Mansion over to this location and
spruced up Main Street to be more than just a walkthrough, but
immediately, the Disney atmosphere is evident as only few can make it.
Interestingly,
Tomorrowland can be found the left, as opposed to the traditional
right. Maybe it's more liberal... In any case, with the help of custom
scenery, Aero is free to improve upon his already excellent Disney's
Mid-America model. The result is a class, traditional sort of
Tomorrowland that still has new attractions like Monsters Inc.
Fantasyland takes up the brunt of the middle of the park and features
the traditional assortment of dark rides. Shown here is The Ride Ed
Dreads, also known as It's a Small World. Here, victims are strapped
onto gentle boats before being transported into a psychedelic world
filled with brainwashed puppets prancing around singing carols.
Aero
introduces a new area in this iteration: Fire Mountain, modeled after
one of the legendary ride concepts that never quite made it to real
life. Shown here is a dive machine called The Dig. Nearby is the actual
Fire Mountain coaster itself, WDU's replacement for Big Thunder
Mountain
Frontierland can be found on the right side of the park behind Main
Street. With its rustic environment and nifty woodsy theming, it's a
beautiful vision of the beloved land.
Finally,
Aero adopts the Disneyland Paris approach with his Adventureland,
modelling after the fabled city of Agrabah. Adventureland is also the
place to see FANTASMIC!, a nighttime water, pyro, and live show
extraordinaire!
So, once again, Aero shows why he should really be regarded as the
King of Disney. No one does it quite like he does, and though his work
may not look impressive when bundled withing a screenshot, actually
exploring it provides a much different feel. So congrats to Aero for
winning this month's Super Runner Up!
