Game Version: RCT2
Parkmaker: RCT-Pro

It’s been quite awhile since the community has seen a club park grace the New Element front page. With members sometimes not playing the game consistently, it’s hard to coordinate building parks through a club effort. Formed in August of 2009, RCT-Pro members have individually been showing great progress in skill, both in the Advertising District and the Place-To-Release-Your-Parks Land. However, RCT-Pro has shown as an entity that they have the determination and skill to complete a park to be proud of. Members Colorado-Fan, prodigy, Grabster, DelLagos, Turbin3, and Stanman all had a hand in creating the wonderful bronze winner: Midwest Adventure Amusement Park. The atmosphere that Midwest Adventure Amusement Park exudes is apparent as soon as the park is opened. The entry not only sets up a colonial feel with its classic barn inspired architecture, but features a beautifully constructed parking lot with excellent detail. As soon as guests enter, they are surrounded by plenty of activities to fill their day, including two coasters that loom over the midway. On the left, the Vekoma giant inverted boomerang Stuntfall delivers big thrills, both forwards and backwards! On the right sits Prod’s Atomic Flyer, a Vekoma suspended family coaster, which showcases creative details and a clever hack. Heading up the entry plaza you can ride the Park Express, where, from across a flowing stream, you can see the soaking drops of Giant Splash, the park’s log flume. The parks biggest attraction, however, resides at the back of the park. Highlander, a CCI terrain wooden coaster, flies through a peaceful mountainous landscape, providing high speed turns and gut-wrenching, steep drops. Not to be outdone by the coasters, Midwest Adventure Amusement Park features nicely themed flat and kiddie rides, as well as shows and shops to entertain a wide array of guests. The park also contains a quaint but lively water park, which, whether it be from twisted water slides or the swimming pools, you will be sure to leave soaking wet! Congratulations RCT-Pro on your first New Element accolade. The styles of the current members mesh amazingly well, and it’s evident you are all team players. It's safe to say we look forward to what your members can produce (whether individually or as a group) in any future projects. |
