One of the more underrated players of the game, at least in my opinion, is humble, rarely-get-into-the-spotlight Loopy, a person of admirable skill in both RCT LL and RCT 2. He has a certain flare to his building, which while similar to many other parkmakers, seems to have a certain personal tinge that makes it seem sort of unique. Maybe its the colors, and if that's so, this design certainly is no different. Perhaps the first coaster I've ever seen to be themed to an actual color, this is by far Loopy's best inverted to date, a nice, sleek coaster with some good snap, nice intensity, and good speeds packed into a relatively short layout. In fact, the personality here sort of reminds me of Silver Bullet, in that both fit well into their landscapes, are relatively short, but keep up a pleasant sort of intensity that make them quite appealing. And that surrounding scenery here isn't bad either... perhaps a bit overloaded with the hot pink flowers, but it's definitely a nice exercise for the pupils. I'd have preferred a bit more architecture, simply to create more of an enclosure around the area, but what's there certainly isn't hard to gaze upon. And frankly, upon a glance, it's not easy to discern whether this is LL or RCT 2, another characteristic of Loopy's work which is rather novel and quaint. In any case, a job well done for Loopy with his neat little coaster. Themed after a color. And a hot one at that. |
