Some ideas are just too good to let die. After 3 years ][ntamin22 introduces Nihombasa, a gold medal winning mini park with one coaster. Nihombasa joins Oh, Shenandoah & Mercury Valley Mills as his third New Element accolade and another RCTLL production. While the park is small compared to many, the park was submitted under the spotlight category and manages to grab gold, the highest honor a park of this size can garner.

Nihombasa is a fictional town located in Tunisia, North Africa. The town is a mix of ancient ruins, some modern buildings, and mash up many different cultural influences. Mandigol, the park’s only ride, is an Intamin accelerator that uses clever hacking to create box track. The tophat leads into a flowing layout with lots of corners and one vertical loop. Custom support work completes the package. Located at the side of the town, the ride goes over and around buildings and dives down by the town’s harbor. ][ntamin22 uses trackitecture along with normal scenery to create very detailed structures. The mix of cultures creates very interesting themes and a variety of colors in a small space. It’s quite eclectic to say the least. Despite the fact that there aren’t any other rides aside from the coaster, the map is still interesting to explore thanks to his attention to detail

Although small, Nihombasa is a nice completed park from ][ntamin22. It’s good to see maps completed, especially after sitting around for so long. Hopefully he will keep producing new and interesting RCTLL work.
