prodigy first graced our pages back in September of 2008 with the first ever Bronze winner, World of Pleasure - Mönchengladbach, he appeared once again in November of 2009 with another Bronze winner, this time as a member of RCT-Pro with Midwest Adventure Amusement Park. Now, we present you prodigy's latest Accolade winner, a fantastic Gold park, Valium Skies!

Beyond the car park - a common feature in today’s realistic style - the entrance stands majestically juxtaposed against the beautifully thick forest in which this glade resides. To imagine being a guest in this park is all too easy, and the main street is where this feeling is first experienced. Guests would be taken with the trams rolling by, the flat rides viewable from the various side-paths, not to mention the beautiful architecture. Traveling along the lakeside as we head deeper into the park, guests arrive in a clearer area with flowing lawns and a serene carousel. After passing an admittedly sudden outcrop of rock, featuring a quaint waterfall, and an amazingly believable picnic area, the guests enter a scene framed in landscape, apparently themed to mines. Approaching the Vekoma family coaster, Devils Mine, with its train zipping amongst the rocky outcrops, the guest can surely feel the atmosphere. Along with this family ride, there is also a mine train for the more adventurous guest. Copper Mine (also manufactured by Vekoma) travels underground before surfacing on its own island! After a frightening adventure coasting around this segregated islet, the train returns to the station, and we can continue our journey around the park. Past yet another Vekoma coaster, this time a family suspended coaster, we see a massive water-ride looming ahead, Hydra, an Intamin Hydro. Around this ride's menacing vertical drop loops the accelerator, Cannon Ball, again, manufactured by Intamin.

Visible beyond the trees behind another beautiful picnic area is the park's B&M invert, Diablo. This coaster sends the guests through two loops, a zero-g roll, a corkscrew and a cobra roll whilst maintaining beautiful flow in its densely wooded, atmospheric lair. Heading along the footpath towards its station, we see the trains of Diablo roaring overhead, and in the distance we can spy the amazingly convincing architecture of this area, which also harbors the Togo looping coaster, Baal. This green machine is a blast for any thrill seeker, and carves its path though a sandy clearing, tunneling through the rocks before returning to the station, ready to take more guests. When the guests wish to continue, they can visit the log flume ride, with a surprisingly short queue area, or return back to the main lake, ready to watch the parks only performance area out on the water, or maybe go on the children’s coaster, or both, if you have time, after riding on all of the parks 21 rides!

Aside from the areas of the park viewable by the guests, there are some wonderful details. In one of the fantastic pieces of farmland separated from the park by thick woods, there is a bog. It may seem pointless, and quite possibly and eye sore, but details such as this bring even more atmosphere to this park. In the very corner of the map, lies one of the best parts of this detailing. Part of another park creeps onto the map, far from the view of guests. With a quiet atmosphere and affordable rides, it is not hard to picture this in real life. This feature is present throughout the map, and could be one of the major reasons this park achieved its respectable Gold status.

We congratulate you prodigy on this wonderful Gold Accolade. The community can only wonder how good your next park will be, seeing that this is only your second solo accolade at New Element. Good luck, I'm sure I’m not the only one that can see a very bright future ahead of you, just make sure it's a Spotlight next time!
