The first of NE's so called 'wannabe collaborations', this park was a chance for 6 improving designers to stake their claim on a parkmaker spot. Starting with Stargazer's entrance, the park then moved to mantis, who passed it on to Coasterct Nick. Next up was OZONE, followed by Sanctuary and, finally, Blitz-sama. After the final touches, Florencia Valley was ready for the community, and you can find out more about the motivation and inspiration for each area straight from the creators themselves. So read on and enjoy this first non-parkmaker collaboration to be officially released at New Element!

Florencia - stargazer

A bridge leads to the romanesque entrance of the park, and you are greeted by the park's friendly mascot - Stargazer!

"I wanted to give a cosy, traditional feel to the entrance to the Collabo. I decided to use an entrance bridge (a la IOAH) and chose a yellow / white / brown colour scheme, focusing on the light brown path roofing and yellow turrets. That cool area with the water coaster in BGL inspired the dainty virginia reel overhangs. Towards the end of making the entrance, I decided to add some subtle reds and went for red under some of the path roofing just to add a little more substance. I was extremely pleased with the result and achieved the ideas I was going for. Thanks for looking at the park and enjoy the rest of the collabo."

Entropy - mantis

Turning left you enter the realm of madness, a chaotic delve into the depths of mantis' brain!

"This was really me breaking out of my Tioman Island shell and going crazy. There comes a point where dulled browns and conservative coasters don't cut it anymore, and Entropy represents the exact opposite. Pink makes its first appearance in my work (surprising, since I talk about it all the time) and the coaster types are unorthodox to say the least. Chaos Theory was inspired by Benni's screenshots of his park (props to Benni!) and i've been imagining a true giga-woodie for ages. Row Row Row Your Boat is my attempt at the River Ride excitement record, and has a very strange hack associated with it. I hope the area opens your eyes, and lets you throw away any shackles holding you back from pure creativity!" - mantis

Polar Research - Base Sanctuary

Escaping the Lanus over a rickety foot bridge you plunge into a freezing research facility, an atmospheric area created by Sanctuary!

"Before I started to build my section, I didn't know what kind of theming to use. I constructed the coaster, and listened to some Iced Earth music. I like the snow theme very much, so I decided to make an Iced Earth area, with some future/industrial buildings, covered by snow. My idea was to create something like the next ice age."

Ancient Gods - Coasterct Nick

If the Polar Base gets too cold for you, nip through a dingy building and over another bridge to reach the imposing temple that leads to an astounding Aztec experience designed by Coasterct Nick!

"Well, this area was inspired by my other work on my coaster design, Xolotl. I was looking for a realistic area and although the Aztec area has been done many times before was trying to make mine different. I was very proud of the atmosphere that I got out of the area and the way everything flowed so well. I experimented a lot with my architecture creating some big interesting pieces, which looked good without windows and awnings. I enjoyed producing this area but now its time to move on from the Aztecs." - Coasterct Nick

1941 Coal Mining Capital - OZONE

If the deities get too angry you may have to leave Ancient Gods, head past an old Park Museum and enter an industrial coal mine, complete with a crazy Mine Shaft ride - all from the mind of OZONE!

"1941 - when coal mining is at its peak. Remember the time when 3.00$ a day was fair wages? When men came home after 12 hr. shifts, and waited for their wives to fix dinner for them? These were the times when men really needed a theme park. Now you can step back into those times. You can explore the town mines on "Run Away Ore Cart", or the wooden coaster "Mine Shaft", or have dinner in the local restraunt, you don't even have to wait on your wife. Roam carelessly wherever your heart (and checkbook) wants to go."
