Let's face it, finishing RCT projects isn't a walk in the park. It's apparent to everybody that unfinished work is the community's biggest plague. Some members spend their entire career trying to finish one park, and when they do, sometimes they're never heard from again. Let's hope this is not the case with RMM. After 7 long years, RMM finally presents a finished project that stands on its own two feet and crushes any RCTLL competition out there. Can you handle X?

X is a B&M inverted coaster set against a beautiful water backdrop that roars through seven inversions leaving dust behind as it flys at a top speed of 63 mph. Unlike many RCTLL parks, X utilizes single-wide paths, which is a rarity in this day and age, to let RCT guests conquer this monster. As guests make their way to the entrance, they're sure to be distracted watching the train fly through the canyon below and shoot into the giant cobra roll hanging over the path. By the time guests make it to the entrance, the same train is roaring through two consecutive flat-spins over the queue line, building anticipation even more. The queue makes a sharp turn under the brake-run and then juts out over the water for a splendid view. With the sun beating off the water and reflecting against the sleek white track, guests are eagerly awaiting the ride-ops to cycle passengers on and off so it can finally be their turn! Finally, the time has come to face X.... as they board the train their hands tremble with fear as they receive the clear from the control booth, and off they go. As the chain gradually pulls the train up the lift hill, a faint click click click can be heard. No matter which way the passengers look the water greets them as their stomachs churn with excitement. Suddenly, the catwalk below their dangling feet drops away and there's nowhere to go but down. Plunging to earth, the train flies through the first two inversions, a giant vertical loop and immelmann that flows gracefully over the lift-hill. Riders are then snapped over the beautiful plaza-architecture on the midway before diving into the cobra roll, but X doesn't let up just yet. It tears across two flat-spins and a zero-gravity roll before snapping into the magnetic brakes coming to a smooth stop where it all began. The train erupts into a roar of cheers as the staff asks how their ride was and the only thing on their minds now is, "Let's do it again!"

It must feel good to finally prove to the community what you're capable of, RMM, and we can't congratulate you enough. Please don't stop blessing the community with your creations.

Easily some of the best LL work to date. The details were all in place, and the entire thing exuded quality. My only downer was the foliage.
vision. innovation. execution.

Congratulations on the Gold Win RMM ;)

posix: wrong bar had been uploaded.

This was very likeable although seemingly random in certain places. But it all came togther in the end for a wonderful design :). I <3 the supports. I wish I could do supports like you.

I absolutely loved this. Clearly some of the best work this site has ever seen. I hope you enjoyed reading the writeup and if ya'll wanna know why I love realism so much, the writeup indirectly explains why I do.

The only negative of the design that held it back from a perfect score for me was the default supports being there. Other than that, just WOW.

Congrats RMM..

it was pretty nice, but i was hugely put off by the fact that you made viewers hit '5' to hide supports. i know dealing with supports in ll is rather laborious. just use the good old chairlift method. i think it's the most flexible and quick to do.

i also disagree with the amount of hacking in this. often i don't see the necessity. instead, i see the pain it creates when building.

composition wise, you had some powerful colour and form combinations that worked out well and what were my personal reason to give this score.
well done on finally finishing something.

I cannot open it today but from the screens it looks stunning. Consistently beautiful, good atmosphere, the right amount of bright colours, good layout, great details... Everything's there!

I love the supports for the loop, the coaster's station and the landscaping. The foliage around the mainstreet was very choaotic, but chaos has never looked this good before so it's no problem at all. Congratulations RRM, I hope to see more of you.

Ha, I like the station buildings. Look like something out of my H2H2 park.

I like the layout, too. It's realistic, but something that would never be built in real life. I'm sure it's just killing JDP inside.

This isn't surprising. RMM has always been one of those LL sleepers (thinking of hevy, tracid, hpg, and others) that hardly release anything but they're actually really really really good. Congrats :)

I really liked this. I'm of the same opinion regarding the in-game supports being visible, I wish they had been gone. Removing them is a huge pain though, so I understand. Loved seeing the peeps in there, and the layout was superb. Nice job with this RMM, looking forward to seeing more from you in LL!

ha wow, didn't expect all this. thanks everybody.

this is probably the sole project i've ever had fun building. i had the idea of a peepable design while designing the ride and that kept it more interesting. i worked and tweaked the supports throughout the entire design. i kept going back to them to improve them. the supports took more time than anything and that really kept me motivated to finish it. there were multiple spots where i didn't want supports to show, not only on the coaster. and that's why i had people hit '5'. i figured it was there, why not take advantage of it? idk if i ever would've finished it if i cleared ALL the supports with a chairlift. so i took that route.

but i'm glad everyone liked it. really does make me feel good to finish something and to see that people enjoyed it. i'd like to make an entire peepable park. having peeps really holds my interest in rct. thanks again everybody and i'm glad you liked it.

Whoa. I don't have LL, but having looked at the aerial, this looks really frigging awesome. The overall composition, setting and landscaping - along with the ride, its supports and its colours all add up to make this visually stunning. Great job.
Wish I could see the coaster run in game. Congrats on the Design spot.

Although I don't have LL installed right now, I must say this is stunning from the aerial! Well done on finishing it. As other have said, one of the best inverts in either game!

Whats with all these people who dont have LL installed? It's a pretty cheap game to pick up legally or non-legally. Sort it out guys :p

Anyway well done RMM this is an excellent design and its great to see a peepable LL design again. It's been a long time. The whole composition of this ride is brilliant and the supports are extremely well done.
