Welcome to Hyatt's Eagle Point Resort! RCTNW Designs is proud to release the Seventh map as part of Project: Aries

This was been a map I wanted to include in the Marriott Project however just never found the right location. With Project: Aries, space was no longer an issue and after re-doing the landscape files for the main aerial, the perfect location was created for this concept. The actual construction on this map went very quickly (even for my standards) however, even though this was quick to build, I feel there is a good balance in the details.

Hyatt's Eagle Point Resort features 78 Motorcoach sites with 16 of them being Deluxe Sites with adjacent cottages. In addition, the resort includes a swimming pool, recreation center, lake for fishing and motorboat rentals.

Welcome to Hyatt's Palm Tower Resort! RCTNW Designs is proud to release the sixth map as part of Project: Aries

For those of you in the US, you might be familiar with a show called "Build it Bigger" (go figure I would be interested in this show!) In a recent episode, they featured a new resort casino being built in Singapore called Marina Bay Sands. The massive complex features not only a great hotel but also a Convention Center, Casino and Amphitheater to name a few. However, what really drew me to this though was the Sky Park located atop the three towers and not just above the actual towers but spanning across all three towers. This was just screaming at me to build this in RCT2. Thus Hyatt's Palm Tower Resort was born.

Hyatt's Palm Tower Resort features three 40 story towers with over 1,700 rooms, eight elevators and one "Sky Deck" that towers over the ground at 555 Feet!

Hyatt's Clearwater Beach Resort

Hyatt's Clearwater Beach Resort is located along the shores of Lake Scarlett and features Five Star accommodations. Guest will enjoy walks along the beach or a relaxing day poolside or take a plunge down the resort water slides.

This marks the second completed resort as part of the Hyatt resort complex and is perhaps one of my favorite structures due to the shape of the actual resort.

Welcome to Hyatt's Camano Creek Golf Course! RCTNW Designs is proud to release the fourth map as part of Project: Aries.

Hyatt's Camano Creek Golf Course features 18 world class holes to challange even the most avid of golfers. This par 70 course featers 80 feet of elevation change along with several holes either crossing or along side Camano Creek. Prior to hitting the fairways, you'll want to practice at the driving range or putting green to perfect your swing.

AT&T Stadium was inspired by Target Fields (see below) as I wanted to improve on a few things that I was not able to do with TF. This map was a lot of fun to create and a proud addition to Project Aries. Many thanks to the NE staff for awarding this as a Gold Park

Hyatt's Parking Facility

All good parks need ample parking for it's guests. I just took it to a different level. So would say I have issues. Even I say I have issues however that is a different story all in itself.

All in all, this is my signature resort to date as I’ve always wanted to do something to this scale and although very tall, it still fits the RCT scale. It reminds me of Vegas in some ways. That said, there are plans for an even taller resort in the future as I’m hoping to hit the 50 story mark. However the economy is placing that on hold.

Archicon was originally a duo park between SirSpinster and Ello. The park eventually got put aside after Ello and SirSpinster left the club, so it then became an all club park. The original concept was to build a park with all different kinds of architecture and minimal rides. The end product doesn't exactly stick to that original concept in terms of minimal rides, but the different types of architecture do remain. This park was started in early 2003, therefore very little custom scenery was put into the bench. The park became difficult to work on due to that but AP wanted to see this park completed. As new club members came on board, the park was passed around to many to try to get this park done. 21 club members ended up contributing to this park: SirSpinster, Ello, AP, Tyandor, JackoShanty, IndyJones, Titan, PenguinBob, Iceman, Kumba, Drew, SixFrags, Richie, X250, RCTNW, Jkay, OhioCoasterFreak36, Steve, Supertrooper, Hulkpower, and Metropole. In addition, 5dave helped finish one of the last areas of the map. 5dave had won Survivor 3 and if the club would have not closed, 5dave would have been a Fusion member. So, altogether, 22 people present ARCHICON to all of you!

RR was my official entry in the QFTB X back in July 2004. I was pretty happy with the coaster although the archi was way below my standards. Not sure what I was thinking back then. Even though it won by default due to a forfeit, it still marked yet another completed entry. Funny thing though is that I think this is the only entry I can claim as a winner in all the events I have entered in at NE. I think this is trying to tell me something! I’ll stick to solo’s and group parks!

This was my most recent completed club park with the RCT Masters. RWAdams (roger) and myself are big NASCAR fans and we both wanted to build a park featuring all that is NASCAR. During the early planning stages of the park, it was decided that all the coasters would be racing/dueling. We also wanted to bring the various teams, drivers and manufactures into the mix. The other aspect of the park was to feature one of our strengths and that was hotel/resorts. We both designed a resort along with some other odds-n-ends. During the later portion of construction we realized that we were going to have object issues. Although the map is complete, we would loved to have added even more details. NASCAR was awarded NE’s Super Runner-up in July 2004 and is today one that I still visit on a regular basis.

KLAP originally started out as a solo park for me as I wanted to build a park that focused on elevation changes. The problem was that I still lacked decent coaster skills and did not want this park to suffer from the same limitations as my first two solos. After discussing the concept of this park with KaiBueno (Kai), we decided to turn this into a club park where he would design the coaster and I would theme them. As the park continued, Kai’s participation continued to expand and the end result is a park that is still one of my favorite parks. The best part of the project for me was the building process for this. It was an absolute blast to work with Kai on this project as his knowledge of the game and parks in general really helped keep the focus of the park. I still use the same concepts today that he showed me back then. Finally, this park once again featured a signature resort and one that still means a lot to me as I shaped this to fit around a hilly terrain. KLAP was also the first park for me to receive some form of recognition. NE awarded KLAP as Runner-up in December 2003!
