This was my Deathmatch entry vs Fisch. he didn't even finish his but I still think I'd beat him with this, anyway I was really into the coaster type I first attempted in Thrill Point and I can say I perfected the concept with this coaster.

This was again an attempt at doing something differently, I got inspired by watching a lot of NL coasters on youtbe and the video of "Turaco" inspired me to do this one, I really liked the idea of a custom all out type of dutchman coaster and adapted what I saw in Turaco to my own ways and layout. In the end I had K0NG do a part in this since I was stuck with parts of the landscaping wich he aced.

After building on a few group projects I decided I wanted to try a design with an unusual theme... I decided to go for a volcanic national park style of design and first planned to have pyroclast be an Intamin blitz coaster in the style of maverick at cedar point. quickly I decided I needed something even more out of the ordinary to do what I wanted to do so I went with the B&M wingrider type to go for design with this one. It missed the rquired score extremely closely and still think it deserved the accolade but oh well can't win em all.

This is my current pride and glory so to speak. I actually started this park after a conversation with CP6. We talked about how he worked in Seaworld Orlando in the summer and after checking some pictures I was sold and decided to make my own Seaworld park that turned out to become Adventure Bay.

WOOOT design accolade, this one actaully started out as the main attraction for an IOA based park of rct-pro but never got anywhere further than the layout of this cosater, when rct-pro died I decided to take this one on myself since I had put too much effort in this thing to just drop it and I liked the layout too much to not use it^^. I redesigned some parts and conteacted nin to be my regular tester, at one evening I gave him the save-game before I went to bed and the next day he told me couldn't resist building on it so it became a duo then...

This ride started out as an experiment after Manta failed for design, I recieved a few comments from the panel that it needed more interaction with its surroundings and the peeps walking around the ride, so basically I tried to make a ride that was really all over the place and the guests could really explore the ride even without being on the ride itself, this also again missed for design rather closely but I never though it would've gotten the required score, I just wanted to see how much it would've gotten if it was submitted...

Saloon Swing

Comment

The Saloon Swing was my round one entry for the unofficial quest for the best competition over here at NE, being my most recent work its at the same time the best I've ever build so far, although I had a major challenge with the coaster type and never really tried a Western theme I pulled a magic bunny out of my hat with this one I think. I sadly won the round by a forfeit from Sulakke, so I was a little bummed that all the work that went into making the ride and doing all the themeing was all without anything to challenge it, I wish it would've been a close match because I think this entry was up for the challenge.

My first ever NE accolade, it was a very close Bronze and looking back at it thats exectly what it deserved, the coasters are the strong point of this park but the architecture and general themes aren't up to standard to get a silver or a gold.

Comment

This was my attempt at e semi-recreation of Manta in Seaworld Orlando, while the layout is as close I can get to the real one with the limitations of RCT2, the surroundings are completely my own design. This entry just missed the design mark by half a point but I'm still very proud of what I had accomplished with this.

I think the layouts are still decent and really come together well at the end for a close finish, the only thing wrong with this design was the scale of the surrounding architecture in comparison with the coasters...

This was my baby before I came to NE and started learning from the pros, I think this shows and the style is very simplistic and too basic to ever get an accolade, I'm still very proud of actually finishing it and all the ideas and thought that went in at the time I was building this...
