The first time we've ever had Co-Spotlights at New Element.
It's also the first time a WW park has won spotlight, even though I said that would never happen. And since I realize that not everyone at New Element has WW on their computer, I accompanied it with an amazing LL park, for one of the most explosive spotlight rounds we've ever had. We start off with Disney's Tilted Acres, the WW park, created by Meretrix. The most Disney park I've ever seen, even more then aero's Disneyland Mid-America, and that alone blew me away enough to give the Spot. The LL park is SAP Cataclysm, created by Blind Guardian, and finished up by Coaster Ed. Each park brings something completely different from each other to the Spotlight, so absolutely everybody should be happy with this Spotlight Round (except for the losers of course).

Meterix - Sorry mate, can't open your park, but you basically showed the whole thing in your screenshot collection, and it was amazing. Really a well done utilization of RCT2's capabilities to create Disney the way it should be. Too bad really, no more Disney controversy.

Cataclysm - Wow. First I'd just say I'm a bit surprised Posix was so influential in the beginnings of this park, as most of it is the "2x2" he preaches against. That's alright though, I don't mind it, though with that much of the style it does get a bit repetitive - basically the same complaint we had with Euroscape. But the rest of the park - probably mostly created by Ed  - was simply stunning. The water rides, the really fast ride thingy, the landscaping, the detail, the fish - THE FISH!!! Good God how I love the fish. Need more? The water tanks, the amazing coasters, the wooden bridges on the really fast ride thingy... I'm not much of a park critic (obviously) but I know when I see a great park, and when I'm Goddamn amazed by a park. One of my favorites ever. I'm in love. :hottie: :D

Can't see Tilted Acres, but looked awesome from screens.

Cataclysm was absolutely amazing, so much cool things in the park. I just wish I was that creative.
Definetly one of my favourite parks of all time.

    Well done!

Cataclysm should have won this spot out right on it's own. It's an amazing park and deserves all the limelight. Tilted Acres should never have got this spot, I'm not denying it might be a good park but if NE isn't going to accept WW parks then it shouldn't accept them, full stop. No matter how good they are. The park has also all ready been released for, what? 2 weeks now or something is it? So that's two Spotlight rules over looked.

Anyway Cataclysm is great, congrats Blind Guardian and Ed.

*cough*if anyone has the .zip file for WW, IM me when I'm on*cough*

With that said, Cataclysm was amazing. I'm a fan of the dark parkmaking, and Blind Guardian shows that he's one of the best of it (since Mortician sold out.....) I really love the rides. Great coasters to compliment the awesome theming and architecture. Really, it's just one of my all-around favourites. Coaster Ed did a good job of taking the park under his wing and finishing it, props to you Ed!

Uh, since when was Tilted Acres released 2 weeks ago?

Haven't looked at Cataclysm yet, but I definitely will.

Tilted Acres was well deserving of a spotlight. Meretrix showed that WW can be used in a non-n00b fashion to create Disney goodness. Space Mountain was by far the best. Anyway, you know I like it. ;)

In my 4 1/2 years in the RCT Community, I have seen a lot of parks, but Tilted Acres is the most amazing park I have ever seen. To anyone that is too stubborn to pay the $20 for WW, this park will make it worth while.

Meretrix, I certainly hope this isn't the last we see of WW from you.

Wow... this is an, umm, odd round. Second co-spotlight (wasn't the first DDI anmd Troy?) and first joint park to win spot.

Titlted Acres looked good, but wow... Cataclysm was simply jaw-dropping. Easily the best dark park I've ever seen. Coaster Ed also did an awesome job finishing it, I have trouble telling their area apart. Congrats to all three of you!

If only I could find my WW cd. I really want to see that park.

Tilted Acres- Can't see it. Looks amazing. Great job, Meretrix.

Cataclysm- Holy fuck. This is now my favorite park ever. It beats out Aurora's Bay, SWA, Euroscape, and Tropico Horizons in my book. What a kickass park. Titled Acres can fuck itself, this is my favorite park now.
The sculptures are definetely the best part of this whole park. The creativity it must've taken to create these works of art is beyond me. Just looking at the detail in these creeps me out. No wonder Blind Guardian is a lazy ass. The rides are next. My favorite ride has to be Carnivore. The atmosphere that surrounds it is really cool. With the bones and the bloody ground. Awesome.
Alright...whoever made the lab area in the corner is a fucking genius. Its the best thing I've seen in a long time. So much creativity in a small confined space. That is so fucking incredible. The custom rides aren't bad either.
Theming is alright, a bit overtreed in some places, but some areas have the best atmosphere (i.e. Carnivore & Labs), so thats a plus.
Congrats to Blind Guardian & Ed for making my favorite park and probably an inspirational park forever.
Edit: Whoops, forgot about Planned Nature. Great water coaster, the best I've seen. Urban End wasn't bad either. God, you really like water rides, don't you BG? Heh. I also forgot the harbor/docks area. Fucking incredible. Wow. I almost shit my pants when I opened this park.
    Woo.

I really wish I could download Tilted Acres because from the screens it looks amazing.

Uh, since when was Tilted Acres released 2 weeks ago?

Wasn't it released a while ago and Iris said if it wasn't in WW it would have won spotlight...?

Anyway, even if it wasn't I still stand by what I said.

And after looking over Cataclysm again I do believe this could be my No.1 park as well, the creativity and consistent dark atmosphere just edge it to No.1 over SWA.

for some reason, DTA won´t open... arghhh!! BIGBEN.dat missing! I have BIGBEN.dat! oh well.

Cataclysm looked cool. Awesome "Mack Prototype" waterride. Awesome sequal to Egyptopia´s Racers in the back, and overall a very different feel to the entire park. Overall Great Job! and congrats BG and Ed!

The problem is you have a BIGBEN dat that came out before WW and WW didn't replace it on installation. You have to remove the existing BIGBEN dat then re-install WW. Pain in the ass, but worth it to see this park.
