    woah? Number 1?

This parks architecture is even better than tropico horizons and auroras bay. Now THAT's saying something.

But you really have to add rides to the equation. This does have excellent flat rides, and one complete circuit roller coaster. But honestly...the rides in this park are half as good as those in Tropico Horizons and Auroras Bay. There's no way that this is a better rollercoaster tycoon park than Tropico Horizons or Auroras Bay.

It has the architecture and detail thats unmatched...but its dated and can't touch Tropico Horizons or Auroras Bay ridewise.

Well I've got a new number 1. I don't what else to say really, this park is brilliant in so many ways. Thank you RRP for such an incredible peice of work. And thank you X-Sector for helping to get this released. For once, I'm speechless. Just read what mantis said, that aplies for me as well :)

I got the first DL and yes the park was awsome but best of all time sorry man but no. i think the RCTers have spoken on that tonight its AB by Pyro (imo) the park was very nice the water rides were amazing but im afried it takes more then that this is "Roller Coaster" tycoon after all.

    I take it back.

i posted that after a short look at the park. i just took a good long look and yeah best ever is right. its the best haked park i have ever seen i loved the underwater ride its just like "the liveing seas" at epcot and the archy was grate. but one thing, why did that coaster need to be so much like kraken?, dont get me wrong its a hell of a coaster but still just not as origenal as the rest of the park.

Agree ^ It didnt look anything like this did it...
I don't remember it going into a loop or even a half loop first. The only resemblance I know are the colours but they arent exact.

    Funny.
I didnt even know I built the floorless [Creature] in SWA. News to me.

Anyway, I loved the park and its my current favorite. Great job RRP and X-Sector (for the help).

How can you guys say its nothing like Kraken? Its a FLOORLESS......... thats enough like-ness for me. Who cares what the layout is like, I still would have liked to see something different as well. All the coaster types that could have been chosen...... theres only a handful of floorlesses on earth after all. Seeing a floorless as the prime coaster, this park lost a lot of its realism (and origonality) for me. Sea World wouldnt put two floorlesses in two out of four of their chain parks (I mean if SWA was a real park of course).

    The likenesses:

    - Coaster type
    - Colors (Like Mort said, not exact, but close)
    - Name ("Creature", "Kraken", basicly the same meaning)

I do like the coaster, but I would have liked it much better if it had been of another type. Not that its really that big of a deal though...........

    It's still got a kick-ass layout...

I don't care if it's a floorles or a stand-up, the fact of the matter is that it's a cool coaster. Why should the fact that 'there are only one or two floorlesses in the world' make a shred of difference? Why not build another one?

Oh well, i'm out of my depth on the realism shit, but I don't see why the fact that it's a floorless should be a problem.

And I don't think i've seen Fatha' post in a spotlight thread for a long time, so I guess this is a special occasion or something.
  • Fatha'%s's Photo
It's not a special occasion, dont worry.
Im just shocked that I made it, because I really don't remember making anything for RRP. As for the Kraken-likeness, sorry, there are MANY differences.

First off, notice that this floorless is the first (In a VERY long time) to not utilize a giant loop. Secondly, it does not have an Immelman, nor does it have a straigh first drop. 'Creature' has six inversions, whereas 'Kraken' has seven inversions. If you actually believe that Kraken and Creature are similar, then something is wrong. Sorry, but since I made the coaster I felt I had to speak my mind on it.
  • Butterfinger%s's Photo
Im tired of floorlesses. They are like, everywhere (RCT-wise). I just thought a park of this magnitude might do well with something a little......... newer. Thats all.

The layout is not similar to Kraken, we can all agree to that. What I was aiming more towards is the fact that this is a floorless. One of the great qualities in Busch parks are the variety of rides they put in their parks. Almost no two are of the same type in any of their parks. The fact that two Sea World parks might have the same type of coaster (and one of the worlds rarest coasters for that matter) in 2/4 of their parks seemed particularly unappealing to me.

Anyway, I wish I had not gotten into this. Like I said, its not really a big deal...........

That's because they are cool :D

Europa Park didn't have one! *dies*

Anyway, Creature was a great coaster and didn't remind me of Kraken. At all.
