I think it should've won! I really like the coaster and the ideas you put on the map, those two aspects are certainly not what made the design lose. I think it's the landscape and the architecture; both not bad in my opinion but just too simple and undefined. A better park/path layout may help as well.

    Keep building!

For me it was a combination of the layout and the architecture. It wasn't as strong as your previous design attempt. Keep trying though :)

Anyways, thanks everyone who commented. I was worried that this might not do as well as Fang because the initial planning wasn't as good. I was trying to get closer to the edge of the map rather than right in the center, and I ended up cutting myself off a bit. Anyway, what does everyone think of the custom flat and the theater?

Oh, whoops. Hadn't realized it wasn't, still great work though.

Aside from following the classic design recipe of a lightly themed big honkin' out-and-back woodie, this has an approachable charm that makes me think with a little more development Musicman could've been a Steve/Artist/Turtle sort of builder.

I don't see the resemblance. Maybe in his other design submission, which I liked better, but not in this. Either way it's too bad he didn't develop further, he had talent.

He disappeared in the middle of a progress. I don't know why(which is sad).
