    After a pretty nice start in 2002, with a realistic approach, and several coasters, it looks like Minnesota Adventures decided to go all out, and really bring out some of Cedar Fair's "big guns". All the old rides in the park, Comet, Corkscrew, Rabit Rat, and the newly named "Black Magic" (formerly Golden Dragon) have all been marked Temporary, and looks like they will be going up for sale sometime soon, or just completely demolished. Rust and fading paint can be seen on the first three coasters (very nicely done might I add). The park also renovates the Bloodbath Falls water ride, which has also been tagged with the Temporary label. House of Horrors and Terror Cabin also seem to be on the chopping block. What will be replacing them? Well the brand new Adventure Bay waterpark is already up now, featuring about 15 slides. Also, 2 new coasters have been built, a nice liquid coaster and the park's new headline ride: "Minnesota Giant", a HUGE looping woody.

    1.Minnesota Giant---RCCA Looping Woody w/Extra Supports
    2.Klondike Gold Rush---Premier Liquid Coaster
    3.Black Magic (formerly "Golden Dragon")---Arrow Suspended Coaster
    4.Rabit Rat---Arrow Mad Mouse
    5.Corkscrew---Arrow Loopscrew
    6.Comet---PTC Wooden Coaster

    Cedar Fair had 35 points at the beginning of 2003.
    - Wooden Coaster (1-31) -10 Points
    - Steel Nonlooping Coaster (1-15) -5 Points

    Total deduction-15 Points

    Wow...k looks really cluttered now for some reason to me

    anywayz...the rust is great and the woody is spectacular

    the waterpark is a bit colorful IMO but its kool

    good luck with all the temporary crap (Cough keep the corkscrew cough)

    its supposed to be for Holloween.. but i'll keep going. i plan on that.. just watch. water park was ment to be cluttered with slides, we got the highest water slide also i think...

    mmm... pretty nice.. i liked the woodie tho it was a bit intense.. what i dont like is the water park. sure its tall.. it might be realistic.. but water parks in real life DO tend to look nice.. kinda have some nice tropical pools and themed slides... this is just ugly... other than the waterpark it looked very nice :)

    WHAT? its a realistic cedar fair water park!, it dosent have your pools "yet", it has the essencials, and does not have a theme since Cedar Fair does not hold any theme.
    it thought the water park was a great addition, one last expansion will be made to it.

    The woodies first 1/2 was really good, but in my opinion it kind of got slower and slower. (worse and worse) I liked the waterpark myself, but no one cares what I think. KEEP THE CORKSCREW.

    NOTE: Every coaster is staying. I put the temporary tag on the different colored coasters, was because i either changed the name and colors, the train, the theme, etc.. but every ride is staying. Nothing is going.

    Sorry for all the confusion. :D

    yeah. we noticed it slowed down a lot faster. and maybe MA will decide on a better ending on the Minnesota Giant, who knows. the construction going on right now is keeping Minnesota Adventure busy, the water park is under its final phase. and a new coaster track has arrived at MA kiddie coaster track. what could be coming may not be big, it depends on what Gen X and I want to do. were gonna keep pulling through to you guys out there.

    nice update. the wooden coaster looks beautiful I don't care how fast or slow it goes as long as it looks good I like it. I'm with nick I like the waterpark.

    Thanks x... It took us forever to get a perfect design. It took the longest to make out of all of the coasters, and we didn't even finish the cutom supports...

    Well, expect a very very well done expansion for next/this month. btw, to iris: Is this version for the month of October or November...
