I gave it a 95%, and for me, this is the perfect park. It has everything I love in a realistic styled park, I love being able to look through this and pick out inspirations from real life parks and see where the park maker is able to insert their own creative ideas within real life constraints. For myself personally, that is what draws the greatest reaction when viewing realistic parks, I realize some people feel completely opposite, however, I am most able to connect myself to an atmosphere of a park I could see myself visiting in real life.

Great job with this one Pac, I have loved watching it grow over the years. I can only aspire to create such greatness. Hope to see many more awesome projects out of you!

Dammit. tried to look at this last night but just get Invalid data error. Think my RCT2 is screwed.

To the high votes: I actually think the community votes MUST be higher than the normal acollade vote would be. Starpointe will make it to the Panelist voting, but parks, that aren't that good will struggle getting over 55% if everybody votes like they would do in the panelist.

It appears you won with the highest accolade score ever! Congratulations man, definitely a deserved accolade.

    Congrats Mr. Hans! :p

Well deserved best park on NE, and I'm not sure this can be topped.

I'll write a more elaborate review later but gratz again on the Spotlight, Legendary Parkmaker status and best score ever!

oh and conrgats on being the first person to ever get 100% yes on spotlight, no one has achieved that before.

  • imawesome1124%s's Photo

Highest NE score ever, from a guy who didn't even think it would win Spotlight.  This was so overwhelming, as Louis! put it.  It had literally everything an RCT2 park could have.  The layouts were all top-notch, the level of detail was outstanding, and there was a ton of atmosphere everywhere in the park.  I personally don't think this park will be topped, at least not in the near future.

I feel like I need to clarify my 100% vote.

I didn't vote 100% because I felt it was perfect, because, well, it isn't. That's not what the scale means to me.

I voted 100% because Pac's produced a park that is absolutely phenominal in every single way.

I've never seen a park like this before, I've never felt this way about a park before. There isn't a release on this site that I believe is of the same calibre.

I gave it 100% because it's the highest comendation I can give it, not because it was 100% perfect.

Woooooowwwww! This park is absolutely phenomenal! I love that water-ride with the diagonal lift-hill. And the red, launched roller coaster. Land is a little flat, tho. Wish there were at least little hills here and there. But man, you lifted the bar for realistic park making. : )

Congrats Pac!  It was so cool to see you stream while building and then seeing the park now with little things you added and changed since then.

I like how you did the wave pool and the rocks near the end, and the tents behind it that were new.  I could go on about how much is in the park that I liked, but I will say it's definitely one of my favorite parks ever.  There is so much to explore, even after seeing it in the stream.  Again congrats dude, well deserved.

Without a doubt the most amazing and beautiful park I have ever seen. The level of detail that went in to every single feature is overwhelming, and how well all the hacks and rides worked also is incredible. Great job, definitely worthy of its spotlight status

    Congratulations Justin.

I'm going to do this in the easiest way I can think of. So here's my personal favourite in the park:

-the entrance buildings that felt really grand and befitting.

-the Johnny Rockets is amazing. The art deco is done just so amazingly.

-the whole western area. The screamin' swing and water ride station are amazing.

-the shops along the Riverwalk and that rapids, the best one in RCT so far. It's realistic and has quite a few rapid sections. The lift hill would of been better at the end though :p

-the Windseaker. the chairlift turns are such a great little touch as well as the sign.

-the dodgems and 2 other buildings in front of the Arrow. They felt perfect, fancy, detailed and fitting.

-the wave pool. I noticed you changed the wave mechanism building. I think that's my most favourite thing in the whole park. Those covered private seating areas and the triangle canvas awnings are also fucking amazing, the colours on both.

-the slide complex surrounded by the lazy river.

-the little chairlift details. I wanted more of that though across the rest of the ride's old course.

I almost felt like you missed areas that you didn't touch up or forgot about. Like patches of foliage that were bare, it didn't seem it was intentional it was just missing? A few little things here and there that were missing like path pieces or a missing object. Either way it's irrelevant and doesn't detract anything.

It's the highest accolade ever for a reason. Just amazing.

This par is F**KING stunning. I love everything about this map the detail is wonderful the layout is perfect. Oh i know some people are not fan of high detail but this is my kind of park.

  • geewhzz%s's Photo
The park overall was fantastic. This is one of the primary things that keeps my drive for RCT and the community so high. Pac didn't just settle, he tried his best to make everything to the best of his ability, and when his ability got higher and higher, he went back over his old work to bring it up to par. That is the reason this park is so cohesive.

Just take a look at the original topic in the Advertising District here http://www.nedesigns...702/starpointe/ and you'll easily see how far along this park has come.

There is just so much attention to detail in the park, so much atmosphere, character. The park just feels real and there is a storyline in the readme to back it up. After DAW came out, is anyone really surprised to see a park of this caliber from Pac?

The only thing that was a letdown in the park, which I've said before is the waterpark. It is nice in the technical sense, but it just didn't feel like a real waterpark, and I think a lot of it had to do with the pathing and composition of it.

Congrats on making what are probably the two best RCT2 park of all time pac.

We are all waitng anxiously to see what your next project will be.

  • Maverix%s's Photo

Well now I can officially say that it was an honor to get to meet you in person this summer :p

Congrats Justin, it was well worth seeing the park get rebuilt, what 8 times was it?  Seriously can't wait to see what you've got in the works next.

  • FredD%s's Photo

Congratulations Pac! It really deserves its high score, this park is just amazing, the best piece of RCT2 realism I've seen and probably will see. You did absolutely fantastic on every element: archy, layouts, path layout, detailing, foilage, atmosphere creation, landscaping... you name it.

It's really amazing, and sure a motivation for the rest to keep building.
