This was quite nice. Your architecture's very blocky and square though. And your textures and detailing were pretty random. But a nice atmosphere and I enjoyed the roller coasters.

I was wondering if this park was going to pop up over here. The flume and flume area was great, it was absolutely the best part of the park in my opinion. I really liked shooting star also.

The rest of the park is nice too but it isn't nearly as good as that area. Overall this is really solid. Nice work!

I loved this. This is what RCT should look like. Cool interaction between rides, landscape and paths. Cool placement of seating areas. The architecture, while sometimes simple, was really good. I didn't understand the Superman theming though. I like that coaster, but why Superman?

^Why not Superman? I colored it red and decided that since it's an American park I would go for superman. I thought I could pull it off, since it seems most Superman ride theming is inside the station/queue area.

Thanks for all the comments so far everyone.

It just didn't match the friendly family small scale vibe that was going on. A superman ride seems something for a really big park with huge coasters.

^ Wouldn't a Superman theme require a copyright, and therefore cost a fair bit more? I think that's why it doesn't fit the small scale park so much.

inthemanual is correct, only six flags parks are allowed to have rides called after DC stuff. it's why Xpress at Walibi isn't Superman or Spiderman anymore, because it's no longer a six flags park.

clearly this is from an alternate history where six flags didn't acquire the rights

I don't understand why there is a fuss about the Superman name. I colored it red and decided a Superman name would be fun. While some parts of the park may seem realistic, that's not the intention. I built what was fun. And I would never let six flags ruin my nice little park here.

congrats, you deserved it. but i really feel like your talent is almost wasted on small projects like these, i know you have some pretty big LL coming up, but i'd love to see a large NCSO park from you.

Congrats on the bronze. Well deserved.

Congrats! This is very well deserved, it's a very charming park.

Charming and cute are the two words that come to my mind with this park.  I thought Shooting Star had a fantastic layout and loved it.  The log flume and Superman (gonna have to agree that that name choice was odd) were both just ok to me.  Loved the playground and the small park charm like the skee-ball and natural feel.

Wow, I must not check the sidebar here often enough. I'm glad this won, and glad I voted for this to win. :p
