I can recommend this park to anyone. It's great to see a classic like this get an update by Paul in his usual style. Especially the 2016 version feels like a typical Paulism park, but more modern. He has kept his trademark colours and style but somehow it feels newer, more contemporary. Some great rides and Efteling ripoffs! Only complaint is that De Uitbraak's theme doesn't really fit in this park.

Hi. Regards. This park should enter by me in delight everyone who tries hand at this game. I never have recognized the old climates site NE. However, I find that this map could draw a lot of a lot of ideas ...

I really like quite a lot of this park. especially the newer stuff is really beautiful and nice (eg the white palace) and theres a bunch of wel-detailed and designed bits and pieces. there's also quite a lot of older-feeling work, like the always-not-interesting de-something-hollander ride in every dutch park, and a heavy reliance on castle ncso pieces. that stuff slightly ruins the consistency of the park for me, and a lot of the really beautiful bits (eg the orange coaster) are surrounded by less consistent work.

I get that its older because its a timeline park, but I feel comments about the park as the whole in its finished (?) state are still valid regardless of the means of construction of the whole thing

Great work! These classic style parks are really starting to grow on me.

Positives for me are the flyer and it's interaction with the rapids ride. The interaction of the woodie and the Intamin (and normally I'm not big on woodies interacting with other rides since the supports end up being a mess and the water coaster. Most of the smaller scale architecture is also very nice.

The few cons for me are the large scale buildings which seem more like space fillers than anything else and the foliage.

That being said, most of the in-park content is great. I'm definitely a fan. Great work.

Coasterbill makes a good point about the large buildings. It has happened to you before that you start adding a lot of big rides towards the end of the timeline, and thereby you're stretching the park thin and things come off as filler. Maybe you're rushing too much, sometimes. The prison however is great, the 2007 flat rides too, and I love the car ride - actually one of my favourite rides in the park. It was a good and actually bold move to add a car ride that late into the park's development. Hartenhof is also majestic, shame about how it's tucked away into a lifeless corner.

I've voted 80%. The park has its flaws, old and new, but overall it's just a ton of fun. I've already spent a great amount of time on the 2006 version over the past decade, and I'm really glad the park got a new impulse with exciting new content without scrapping the old, however mediocre some of it may be.

Thanks for the gold! Despite the outdated bench, glad you like it.

  • Description

This park was built for 'De concurrenten'. This was a timeline competition of Holland which then went up to the year 2006. A few months ago I decided to build further with all my old parks of the competition. The park has now been built up to the year 2015. Due to lack of inspiration I am not yet embarked at the year 2016. However i would like release the park now because there is so much changed since the 2006 version.

The original park was made by Timo he made a small, cute Efteling ripoff. Around the year 1998 PaulParks firing the park over and started expanding the park rapidly. The bigass wood coaster "Groezelaar" was the first thingsthat the build. Which was followed by several more extensions. The park now has 10 roller coasters, a small sample of the collection "De Adelaar" a classic Vekoma steel MK1200, Vleermuis Laaf a Caripro Batflyer, De Uitbraak a Intamin AG Accelerator Coaster and the newest coaster Icarus a B&M Flying Coaster.

If you love Dutch park making, I invite you to take a look!
