Here is the first release folks, sorry it took so long but I had to do landscaping for the entire park (so I could play it like a true scenario instead of landscaping as I go which I did for the first part of the building process). Sections that are completed are Old Mexico and Japanese Gardens. The CBC area is being built and such.

Looking back on it now (havn't worked on it for 4 months until now) I'd say its good for my standards, albeit a bit raw....I had the right ideas in certain places by I think I could have executed them better...this led to the park looking a bit fake and wild in certain places...Look for me to fine tune the execution of ideas much better in future releases of this. What I am proud of are the coasters, however....Raiden is without a doubt the best roller coaster I have ever made, Ryu is arguably my best invert, and Pale Rider is likely my best woodie. I suppose some of you may want screens since this might be the first youve heard of this since ive been gone a while....Ill show you the coasters:

The park was closed because I couldn't bother with the peeps while landscaping, but has been reopened. Refer to a new thread I will create soon for further updates. Enjoy.

I especialy liked the chinese letters at a ride (don't remember which ride) and the House of Flying Rainbows was also very nice. The entrance area was a bit disapointing, imo.

Ryu is downright sexy and is by far my fav invert. Looking forward to seeing more

I liked this park... it held my attention for quite a while, probably due to the atmosphere and 'life' it has. It's got realistic, large areas of paving, but is still peepable, so that's a plus. I liked the theming on the whole - the Chinese area seemed to have a bit too many colours and textures, but it didn't really take anything away from the area. Entrance plaza was unusual, but I liked the Boomerang being in it.

As you said, coasters were a strongpoint - as they should be. Too many people forget that this is ROLLER COASTER Tycoon - the coasters and rides should be the focus of the park. I've already mentioned the Boomerang; I liked both woodies too. Ryu, the inverted coaster - not so sure about the pacing of some of the elements, but I really liked the inline-twist-into-first-drop combo. A few coasters ran in Block Sectioned Mode, but had trains stopping on the lift hill for waaaay too long. You could either alter the train's waiting times in the station, or add a mid-course brake. Which you have done on Raiden, but it seems to be lacking the block brake itself.

Other than that, Raiden is an incredible piece of work, and by far my favourite part about the park. I love how its layout sprawls out across the untouched back of the park, through forests, ravines, over rivers etc etc. The layout seems to have a bit of everything thrown in - big drops, hills, overbanked turns, steep twists, helices. I also like the segment back to the station after the midcourse brake - the ride still does a lot, despite the train's decreasing speed. The whole thing reminded me of a version of Apollo's Chariot, in RCT form. Amazing job on it.

I loved it. Old Mexico lacked in certain areas but overall it was nice. I loved the Japanese Gardens and the start of the CBC area though. I think you're starting to improve in your execution of the theming as you go along with this.

All the coasters were fantastic and some of the best rides I've seen in a long time. Great work there.

This was a really fun thing to look around in. It had a great feel, and kept my attention for quite awhile watching the peeps and stuff go around. The House of Flying Rainbows is one of the best building facades I've seen. I love how the ride pops out all over the place and how you've managed to make like 12 colors look nice on that building. All your theming was very well done and integrated into the areas quite nicely. Same with the rides. The coasters were pretty good as well... although I do have 2 comments on them. Pale Rider was a great layout, although I would've liked some variation besides all right turns. (I know Avalanche at Timber Falls does it, but still) With Raiden, that ride had some of the best landscape interaction I've seen in quite awhile. The coaster was nice, although it was vastly over supported (probably 2x what you needed, maybe more). Besides that I really don't have any complaints-- looking forward to more additions on this.

Raiden is one of the best coasters i've seen for a long time, taking everything into consideration. The Chinese area is one of the best i've seen. Very nice stuff, it put a smile on my face.

It looks like there was a lot of thought and planning put into every aspect of this park, and I love the way you combine your excellent coaster building skills with a beautiful landscape and wonderful theming. The Mexican area reminded me a lot of my trip to Mexico, well done there. The oriental area was quite charming, imo, and Ryu was nothing short of a work of art.

Now, onto Raiden. It has been mentioned already, but it was very over supported. The layout was wonderful, and I wathced it several times before moving on. Great timing, and it flowed very nicely.

The boardwalk area looks as though it is progressing very nicely, and I enjoyed watching the CBC. House of Flying rainbows was a lot of fun to watch, and the colors were spot on. I can't wait for the nex installment of this park, it was truly a joy to look at.

Theming, coasters, landscaping, this park has all this in large quantities. Awesome, Fatha' :mantis:

Pale Rider = My fav woodie ever in RCT2. Toco Loco = my fav in LL.

Fatha' is the master of wood... in a not gay way. I mean wood from tress rather then pants.
