During Head-2-Head 5 we saw Louis! break out of his shell completing 3 major parks for the Flying Germans. Although none of his parks garnished wins, his showing in each park impressed the masses which propelled Louis! as an obvious candidate for Rookie of the Year. Prior to Head-2-Head 5 he dabbled in plenty of projects to get him notice around the community. Today's win,
The Legend of Middleditch Manor, puts him in the ranks of a small amount of players ever to capture 3 NE Design wins. Read On...

Louis sorry I couldn't help with the name nor help you finish it, you did a better job than I could have ever done. Glad you did finished it and congrats on the design! You know I love you, I'll post my thoughts later when I look at it

I'm torn about this one. I liked the layout, it flowed well, and the architecture was nice with a quaint feeling to it, albeit a bit repetitive. The question is how much you need to build "around" a design. One can easily see you have a lot of space left thanks to the outer land edge (yes you're lazy :p), and it feels almost like you choose the easy way out by filling up most part of the map with the background tiles. But overall I agree with the accolade panel's calculated score of 13.00, that's what I would have given it if I were a panelist. Congrats on your third design!

everything was Design quality, just not enough of it. i felt that the coaster's immediate surroundings were a little bit too empty. i think it just hits the Design mark, which is good since that's what it got. congrats with #3 Louis!

Agreed, although I think the last helix wasn't necessary. There was very few to look at; nothing to discover which I think is important.
I'd give this probably a 11/20. Louis, you can do better! Congrats anyway, three designs is something to be proud of!

This was a very old project of him. He asked me to help him, but I had not the time for it (that was a way back already). Then he decided to finish the rest himself (mainly the architecture, coaster was already in place when I first saw it). When he did the architecture, he send it to Airtime, me and maybe a few others. Airtime was not able to help, I did helped a bit in the end (importing some objects for him because he was too tired for it (as far as I can remember)). Then he submitted it right after it.

It is weird that it takes so long to release things. I think he submitted it more then a month ago, maybe 2.

None, the less Louis, congrats on your third design buddy Too bad you are busy nowadays and we don't talk much on msn anymore :(

^Things take a while to get voted on, and then there's a lot of release prep that's needed to be done.

    This was really great
Really good layout and nice surroundings

Reminds me of Avenger in that matter, maybe could've used a back up flat or something though

The layout reminded me of Thunderstruck in Thrillmatic and Egg Head's Big Bear. Probably just the loop with the track through it thing and all the focus on cornering.

While there was nothing particularly stand-out about the ride, I thought it was fun to watch. The architecture was pleasant too, just not overly varied. It would be nice to see a larger part of a park then just a coaster and some buildings... I think you could develop an area better that way.

I know I gave it higher, but upon another look, I feel like 13 is a good score for this design. The layout was very smooth and well paced. I thought the queue interaction was not dramatic but still seemed nice. I would have liked to have seen more large architectural pieces, but what was there was well detailed and conveyed a pleasant atmosphere. Too major flaws that now standout too me are the overall flatness of the submission with its lack of any real depth and the foliage seems a little lack luster. I have never been a huge fan of the randomly placed flowers.

Still this design was very enjoyable too look at. Nice work.

I love the layout. The surroundings is what kills it for me. Although the archy was very nice, it just seems to be lacking something. That said, the coaster was excellent, and the design earned. I would have given it a 13 as well.

Loved the coaster, nice layout and looked great. It was definitely the strong point of the design. Congrats!

i dont think architecture should have anything to do with a design submission unless its theme is more complex, i got the point an couldnt pay much attention to it watching this coasters flow, i think it deserves its spot. i dont think attention should be turned from the coaster itself to what surrounds it.

Yeah I dunno about this one. The size bothers me. I guess I'm just old school so I want a design to be the best piece of work you could produce.

That said its good that you finished it rather than just discarding it so I applaud you for that. Nice coaster, very aethetically pleasing but I just wanted more so badly because I know how good you are.

    I loved the layout <3

Theming was good, maybe a little bit more 'd be better IMO.
All in all it was a solid design with nice atmosphere:

So I'm just gonna say thanks to the panelists for giving me my third design. I know it's not my best work and it's also small but as people have said it's an old design.

I was just sick of having tons of projects unfinished so I decided to finish it and release it whether it won anything or not.

Thanks for all the comments when I have more time I'll reply to each one. :)
