RCTLL is something that has never really left New Element, but had been getting weaker and weaker over the years. However, it has certainly been making a true return to form, and with members like Roomie continuing to produce amazing creations, it seems like RCTLL is getting stronger than ever. So 2009's most active parkmaker is back with his first release for 2010, War Of The Worlds - Destruction. | Read On...

I absolutely loved this, as evidenced by my score. The hacking was ingenious, and the ride itself was epic. It was chaotic, but in a good way. Please, please keep giving us wonderful submissions like this!

I dont have LL, but the overview is fantastic. The crashed train on the far right was so cool. And that logo is sweet to.

I sadly don't have LL installed right now either but this certainly makes me think about installing it again. Absolutely beautiful from the overview and I think that it's very innovative as well. Congrats and nice writeup and logo for it.

I'm downloading! Roomie, you are one of the best parkmakers. I have been anxious for this to come out. Please continue work on Jusmith's Through The Ages, that'll deserve (with a shoestring hack of course,) the following word-

Although it looks very cool, this is something that definitely cannot be judged on by just overview looks. I really want to see this in game but I don't have rct(1) or ll discs on me, can somebody find a solution for me?

    is this a challenge roomie?

Well I loved it! Designs themed to stories / movies are best when I know it well, heh.

    Hey
Thanks all for the kind words. I'm glad this is finally out. I have been working on this for a LONG LONG time so it's great to see it in the public domain.

@Robbie92 - I may not have quite so many submissions in 2010 as I did in 2009 but I hope to have 2 full sized parks released this year so that should at least make up for part of it. I just sent a Micro into Kumba's Competition so that should be next out of the gates.

@Austin55 - Cheers man, Thanks to ][ntamin for the logo it is superb.

    @LiamPie - Cheers

@Louis - Thanks for the write up. Suits the ride perfectly

@Fisch - Thanks very much, a shame you don't have LL as i feel this is a ride that really needs to be seen in game to get the most out of it.

@GigaG - Thanks for the kind words as always GigaG, I just hope TTA will live up to expectations :)

@Phatage - You don't have LL? we will have to do something about that.

@Levis - Think of it as a statement of intent. :p

@Ozone - Cheers. I was a bit torn on whether to make it WoW themed in the end, I'm a big fan of the book and the book takes place (mostly) rural England and Ye Olde London so I was a bit hesitant to label this as such. I almost went with John Christopher's "The Tripods" trilogy (http://en.wikipedia....iki/The_Tripods) but i felt more people would associate with War of The Worlds.

Thanks to Loopy as well for the constant feedback during the rides development :)

Very nice indeed. I've been lurking for a few days and this is the first thing I have downloaded in at least a year, it never ceases to amaze me how the limits of this game can continue to be stretched. The train wreck at the edge of the map is such a cool little detail that I wouldn't have the first clue of how to go about making now (not that I did in the first place!).

It's great to see this because it really does remind me of the old days and takes me right back. In fact this coaster even looks like it takes elements used in one of my old parks that Midnight Aurora helped out on, albeit to another level - I couldn't even keep track of the train at most points! Nicely done.

holy shit TPM! how you been?

as for the Design... I thought you'd abandoned this project roomie... nice to see it off the cutting room floor and now and accolade

I seem to remember liking what you had done with the roads... I think there was a car accident or two? Good stuff all around either way.
