    wow they were both very good but the grich's topped it off for me. As usual rct1 won (no surprises there then).

    O and the skateboard thing well im gonna release mine in a few days cos i wont finish it and I prolly wont use the idea now that its already been released in a park.Look out for it.

    El Dorado is so perfect....its scary. The colors and the archy make it soooo b00tiful. The theming around the coaster with the fire is excellent and the coaster itself isn't bad at all. Really nice...and definetly deserving a win here.

    Maui Xtreme Resort was pretty good....but it just looked like every other resort I've seen. The layout was predictable really...and the it was just bland. It looks very HAWAIIish...but you don't have the tropical part of it down. Sorry.

    The big part of our park wasnt theming, it was the rides....I think we achieved that, because the skate ride and vert ride are really creative in my mind.

    If Pyro wasn't involved in El Dorado I will be beyond shocked. That architecture just screams the Penguin.

    Very close. In the end I went Maui Xtreme, but if my mood were different I might have gone the other direction. This should go down to the wire as they are both great parks.

    I'll have to say what I think about both parks once i've done the now weekly RCT2 marathon.

    I think we just snatched this one due to the sheer rct2 perfection...
    People moan about rct2 but our 2 makers have put the perfection in it...

    Brilliant

    Mean green (fathas work is obviously visible) - this was also a great park and the skateboarding ride was brilliant but wasnt keen on the other hacked vertical ride....
    Nice atmosphere

    Great job Icons purely amazing. From what I see the buildings look fantastic.

    My guess on MG side is Fatha and Nate. It got boring with 2 stand up hacked coasters, but still it was nice.

    Well anyone here can recognize FG's work from a mile away so that'll never be anonymous and Grinch's comments are fine cause he knows this. I haven't seen the RCT2 one yet because I'm unable to run RCT2 at the moment (and in the interest of fairness I haven't voted yet) so if that reveals the parkmakers than you have a point but otherwise all the comments I've read so far have been guesses. With the competitive spirit at this site it's not surprising that an anonymous h2h2 tournament becomes 'who can guess the parkmakers first' (I'm one of the biggest culprits actually). But if the anonymous thing is important we should at least make an effort to maintain it. The problem is that the topic is closed when the voting stops so once the names are revealed you can't talk about the parks.

    Regarding the Mean Green park, I actually liked the vertical ramp coaster more than the skating coaster. The skating one was ultimately more creative and interesting I guess but the other one was such a simple idea but it just looked really fun and had great theming. And to me two custom standup rides are far from boring. I haven't been able to look at the Icon's park yet so I can't comment and I don't want to look like a traitor but I feel compelled to commend great work when I see it. Lemme just add that I'd like to see more of this creativity from you Grinch. You're great with the traditional coasters too but we've all seen liquid coasters and log rides and mine trains before. A skating coaster with slide rails and vertical ramps was a great idea and when you exploit those kinds of ideas you put out your best work. (unless somebody else made that in which case I don't know what I'm talking about)
