There is a limit of 100 banners in LL, however there is actually only a limit on the number of records of the messages, colour, text colour and style of the banner. Not the objects in the game map themselves. We can exploit this by copying existing banners using the memory editor’s cloning ability.
Important Notes
Demolishing the original sign will crash the game. You can get rid of the physical banner by doing the same in reverse (e.g. turning the banner into a barrel or whatever, then deleting that), but the message etc will still be saved and count towards the limit.
The copies of banners won’t be animated properly, if you *do want* the sign to be animated (i.e. it’s not just be used to support something) then place a new sign on the square (facing a different direction) as normal, then demolish it)
Other Notes
You can copy any of the banners including copies, i.e. it doesn’t have to be the original one. There is still a limit on the number of animated objects. You can copy any object, there’s nothing special about banners.
