| The site now consists of two areas; the blue site for official content and the green site for unofficial content created and maintained by the New Element community. There are no strict rules about what projects the Wiki can be used for, although they should all be related to the RollerCoaster Tycoon games or the site in general. The Wiki is integrated with the forums and the rest of the site so you need to login on the forums to be able to edit the Wiki. |

| September 25th The Wiki software has been updated slightly to add a few features omitted from the initial launch. Full text search is now available and a ‘template’ namespace has been added to allow the creation of templates. |

| The New Element Wiki currently uses DokuWiki. A standards compliant, simple to use Wiki, mainly aimed at creating documentation. It has a simple but powerful syntax which makes sure the datafiles remain readable outside the Wiki and eases the creation of structured texts. |
