(http://forums.nedesigns.com/index.php?showtopic=18450) where Kumba, now name changed Darren (http://forums.nedesigns.com/index.php?showuser=512), apparently had lost interesting in being ne's captain. A few days later, I went to the forums and found myself as an admin. Along with me, geewhzz (http://forums.nedesigns.com/index.php?showuser=10079) and Steve (http://forums.nedesigns.com/index.php?showuser=932) had also been made new admins. Other currently active admins are Carl (http://forums.nedesigns.com/index.php?showuser=1828) (formerly known as ride_exchanger), darkfire (http://forums.nedesigns.com/index.php?showuser=861) (the one with the coding talent), Adix (http://forums.nedesigns.com/index.php?showuser=), who has come back to us for the moment, and recently added there's also CedarPoint6 (http://forums.nedesigns.com/index.php?showuser=1551), who we, as the team, personally wanted to become admin along with us. Darren told me he wants to concentrate more on his career now and that he's missing the time to babysit ne. So what's going to happen now? The past few days we have been active in the admin forum discussing the future of this website, what we think are problems and how they can be solved. The second round provided some of the strongest entries of the contest and Levis 5Dave had the duel everyone knew would come. In round three it seemed like Evil WME and Corkscrewed could be on course to have a legends duel to decide the championship. However in the elite eight they both fell. Now it is finally here. The Final Four of Micro Madness. In one corner we have #3 seeded Ride6. He's the guy you never expect to do much, yet in every NE contest he has been in he's exceeded expectations, by a lot! #1 seeded Xcoaster is the heavy favorite coming in, even if he has been a little lazy. The guy's ideas and exaction of them with micro detail is down right amazing. Then there is the guy who cooked up this contest and is even writing about himself at this moment! #2 seeded Kumba will look to keep his fire ablaze since netting the 2007 NE Parkmaker of the year award. One thing James has always been known for is the massive scale in which he builds with and this 200x200 map is no exception as there are well over 5,000 seats all around the park's different marine stadiums. Congratulations on finally achieving NE's highest honor, I think we all knew that it would happen someday. To fully celebright this NE Spotlight the forums have been limited to a select few and a fiesta has been declared. Also I have decicded this might just be a good time to introduce an all new Deathmatch, which is an old idea the great Raven-SDI had years ago. The twist on this NE Spotlight Deathmatch is that you need to add to an old (or new) NE Spotlight park. This party will keep going until Monday night. Levis also became a parkmaker on awards night and ride_exchanger says to hurry up with your page! Not only do we have a couple of new pages for everyone to enjoy, but also an all-new On the Radar update with new faces and write-ups! Don't forget that the Micro Madness Championship entires are due March 31st and winner will be announced in about a month, after being decided by a public vote! After months worth of matches only 4 remain... Camcorder22, Kumba, Ride6 and Xcoaster. However, due to the fact that everyone is lazy these days we have decide to just ask the contestants for one more entry each. Best one wins the Championship in early April! In other news we have two new NE releases for you... (runner-up/superior-amusement-park/) First off is a very nice realistic Runner-Up Park by JDP. He has clearly improved a good deal since barely winning RU with Korsareian Valley. Now he is back with a legit RU in Superior Amusement Park Resort (runner-up/superior-amusement-park/).
