Of all the extremely talented Non-NE Parkmakers out there, one that has definitely caught my eye as of late has been Junya Boy. Whether it's being the first to submit his Hi-Rollers Entry, or showing off his NE Debut with this beautiful Runner-Up, Junya Boy has shown me nothing but positives in everything he's done. Not many people make it onto The List with their debut park at NE, especially someone who has been using the "RCT Station" style of parkmaking for a while now. I love the coasters that Junya makes, so creative and adventerous, while still in the realm of reason...a task that is nearly impossible, yet Junya makes it look easy. All of his parks feature that subtle pleasantness to them, with a great atmosphere, beautiful architecture, and the aforementioned awesome coasters. I see a bright future and a great career around New Element for Junya Boy.
This screen shows off two of the park's coasters, my favorite in the park: "Vaporizor" (I'm a sucker for a good Fourth Dimension Coaster) and the "Dragon Fire" impulse coaster. Now, apart, they may not look like the flashiest coasters ever, but paired together in the screen, they really contrast off of each other nicely in my opinion. Very realistic, and somehow soothing in a way, in the same way that parks such as Paramount King's Island, or Busch Gardens Williamsburg seem soothing. Using trees to enhance the park, rather then just to fill space. Great job Junya Boy, keep up the work on the awesome coasters.
Here we see the awkward "Critical Mass" customized 2005 Shuttle Loop here. Featuring Stand-Up trains, it's basically a modernized, hyperactive version of the classic Shuttle Loop. Blasting out, into the large loop, before a 90 degree twisting spire (similar to those found on Impulse Coasters), before returning through the loop and station, and ascending a large 90 degree tower at the other end of the station. While not complex in layout, the concept is very cool, and it was pulled off nicely. Creative, yet not over the top insane, so it maintains that realistic, yet adventerous approach of parkmaking.
Now we see a portion of the "Morais Lapse" Arrow Looper coaster, one of the more subtle coasters in the entire park. In this screen, Junya shows that not only can he make great coasters, but hes mastered this RCT2 architecture as well. An awesome Arrow Looper with a realistic, yet exciting layout, with a very nice ride station, and a great building in the middle as well. After seeing this, and seeing his Hi-Rollers Entry, I'll just say this: Parkmakers better watch out, or Junya Boy might sneak up and steal a Parkmaker Spot.
