This should have been spotlight. No other park has ever recreated the Disney atmopshere anywhere near as well as aero21 managed to. Yet people were demanding for a change in the spotlight. No more Disney they say, so Disneyland Mid-America was robbed of its crown. An incredible double map resort, featuring a classic Magic Kingdom style map, along with the recently popular DisneySea style map (Imagi-Nation). Congrats to aero for his "Super Runner Up", and hopefully thru the NE Awards next year, DMA will get its title.
This is a shot of the creative "Journey to Atlantis" submarine, which houses a pair of great simulators located in the Tomorrowland area of the park (best Tomorrowland I've ever seen). The area comes equipped with it's own looping Space Mountain, a fast paced "Space Transport 3000" (with rotating station!) and a very clever Space Station Restaraunt.
Now a shot of one of the most impressive things I've ever seen in RCT, located in the Imagi-Nation map: aero's version of the "Tower of Terror". It's sheer size is enough to leave anybody wide-eyed, but it's incredibly detailed and fits the ride extremely well. One of the best things I've ever seen in RCT, great job aero.
Finally, a shot of the American Waterfront area of the Imagi-Nation map, again pulled off better then any other Disney park I've ever seen. Captain Hook's ship takes a different approach to ship making in RCT, and is a definite success. Even cooler, is looming in the background, the fabeled "Villain Mountain" water coaster. The Downtown Hollywood area of the park is barely noticable in the lower right of the picture.
