The latest in the Everquest series, Lands of Shadow is the followup park to Haunted Lake, which was a very popular Runner-Up way back. This park takes a different approach however, with only 2 coasters, and focusing a lot more on theming, architecture, and most of all: landscaping. The entire park follows the haunted type of theme, and Ashitaka pulls it off very well.
A shot of what you can expect in the very unusual, "Forgotten Race" themed area, which is obviously themed to a race of people who were forgotten over the sands of time. The "Old Look Out Stand" is pictured standing tall through the rubble of rocks & bushes.
"The Treshold", easily one of the most exciting water-rides I've come across in a long time. Pictured, is the remarkably huge final drop which lets down into a huge splashdown at the bottom. The drop hits over 50 mph, but don't think this ride is a one trick pony, Threshold will take you on a 5 minute journey with 4 drops!
Finally, the lift hill of the park's main attraction: "Blood of Heaven", a B&M Floorless Coaster with 10+ Stats (10.14), remarkable speeds (almost 70 miles per hour), and some very well placed inversions as it scales through several themed areas on it's ferocious layout.
