Forest of Nautica By OZONE Added on Saturday, 16 June 2007
Whoa! OZONE really outdoes himself yet again with another brilliant park. After being considered a "nobody" upon his arrival, he released the surprising NE Runner-Up "AO Convention" along with his partner in crime, Aviator. Gaining respect slowly, he got his second Runner-Up status with "Illusion Isle", a park with some flaws, but some absolutely breathtaking theming. Now, his third runner-up, but easily his best park yet, Forest of Nautica!! This park marks OZONE's debut on The List, as it got him up to #36, only 6 spots behind this week's "park of the week", Posix' Atlas Infinitum. OZONE definitely has his own style, where he has perfected matching different color schemes. This park also granted OZONE admission to the NE Wannabe Parkmaker Collabo, so get ready for that as well. Great job, and congrats on an incredible park.
First off, you can check out the park's most intimidating set of rides, "Anteayer vs. Manyana", the battle of yesterday vs. tomorrow. Both used hacked downward launch technology, and while the ratings may not be too amazing, the ride experience definitely is, and so is the ride's appearance. Beautifully sprawling over the Corazon De EspaÑa area of the park, through some great spanish architecture, all while dueling in perfect harmony. Definitely a sight to be seen, great job with these!
A shot of the Canterville area of the park, and the area (and park's in my opinion) best attraction: "Blunted Arrow", a psychotic hacked wooden coaster that actually feature a few stall-outs on its own. This area is really one of the more beautiful ones I've seen. Great architecture, great coaster looming over, the theming is fantastic, everything fits. The tree selection is rather limited in this area, but I overlook that when I'm looking at thw quality of the theming. Amazing job, one of yet another incredible themed areas by OZONE.
Finally, a nice shot of a couple different things. First and foremost, the beautiful Sand Castle Resort over in the right hand side of the screen. Great medievel themed hotel, one of the nicer ones I've seen. Actually reminds me of a PyroPenguin hotel a little bit. Also, notice the awesome waves crashing down on the shore, very cool touch. In the bottom left, another cool little innovation in the Lake Super Lighthouse. The rest of the screen showcases the Sector 89 area of the park, and more specifically, "Mission to Mars", the terrain using custom TA2K coaster. The grey area just shows how well he contrasts his themes.
