Congratulations goes out to Gutterflower for making an unexpected appearance at New Element. Nobody knew what Roomie was up to, except for a very select few...and it turns out roomie has been hard at work perfecting his new pattened "Shoestring Coaster" first debuted in the H2H2 'Indiana Ridge', by unveiling a coaster pack full of different prototypes. While he's still hard at work on his various park projects he has going, it's awesome to see him taking the time to work on this monstrous machines. Great job Gutterflower, and props to those who helped him along in the construction (x-sector, mantis, AK, sircursealot, etc.)
Here you see one of roomie's dueling coasters, fully equipped with some Roman theming chipped in by the legendary x-sector. This coaster (the 2nd in the coaster pack) is by far my favorite of the entire pack. A psychotic time travelling womp featuring help from sircursealot, Posix, and X-Sector in the theming department and one of the most psychotic ride layouts I've ever seen. Vintage roomraider right here folks, it doesn't get much better then this. Great job roomie and welcome back to the parkmaking scene at NE!
Here's a shot of the "Anti-Newton", one of the shoestring coasters that just furthers along the technology originally used in "Snake Bite". Brainteasing ride elements throughout the entire ride will leave you puzzled up until the very end...where you'll just wanna experience it all over again. Finding a way to reinvent almost every coaster, roomie has to be well up on his way to the best ride-makers of all time consideration. With the Hypercoasters he basically trademarked, the Rotator coaster he invented, and now this...roomie is light years ahead of everybody else.
Here's another shot of the 2nd coaster in the pack, and more specifically the mind boggling mess of corkscrews you see before you. If that's not insane enough for you, then I don't know what is. The colorful theming is a great contrast from some of the rest of the ride, which has a gloomy feel. Amazing job Gutterflower, I was really excited when you sent this in and I loved watching each and every of the five coasters in the pack, they all bring something new to the concept, and it just shows how much of a ridemaking genius you are. I know you must travel to London for a while pretty soon, but know that we are all with you, one of our favorite parkmakers to ever grace New Element!
