During the Head 2 Head 3 season, ride6 and Splash-O proved to be quite formidable parkmakers for the Flying Germans, helping pick up the teams biggest wins, so it's hardly unfathomable that they would pair up for a park, and the result is the pleasant Lake Rash Mount, a nice park study that displays both parkmakers' skills.
Entering the park and turning left leads to this sort of tropical land, home to Destructo, a curiously named B&M inverted coaster with five inversions and nice terrain integration. It's another Nemesis-type inverted, but it cruises along at nice speeds and works relatively well with its surroundings. The name could use a bit of work tho... sounds like a superhero coaster Kumba would make. Just kidding, Darren.
Moving up into the next section leads visitors to Mount Adventure, a loooooonnnnng log flume with a sensational 72 foot final drop. This 12 and a half minute adventure navigates through a land that seems inspired by Escalante River Falls, and the architecture shows some nice experimentation in form with those jagged pink sculptures.
Red Rock Junction is home to Custer's Last Stand, a CCi woodie that towers over 120 feet above its surrounding and hits speeds up to 68 miles per hour! The nice thing about this area is the subtle sophistication of the theming, with buildings that are complex in form but don't seem "busy." The dilineated, spaced out "Schuessler style" path layouts also brings a bit of nostalgia to the park, adding to the pleasant charm. Lake Rash Mount isn't the flashiest park in the world, but it's certainly a nice relaxing place to visit on a nice afternoon!
