RCTU's second group park to become a Runner-Up takes a much darker approach then the first one, "Secrets of Venice". This one was made by
Mortician, Prince Ashitaka, and Generation X. To be perfectly honest, it's not quite as good as Secrets of Venice, and can get rather boring in parts...but it's still a nice, solid park in the long run. Looking over the park, there isn't much wrong with the park (other then less then stellar coasters), but there isn't a whole lot going for it either. Most of the coasters are either over-cliched, or just pulled off wrong. Some of the theming is really nice in parts, but the style of architecture gets boring after a while. Still, these are two NE Parkmakers working on this thing, along side a very underrated parkmaker in Generation X aka Drew, so it's definitely worth a look, and you can decide for yourself.
The only coaster that really stood out in my opinion was this one, "Terrorizor Tales", a Schwarzkopf Looping Coaster created by Mortician. Not many people really know how to make these coasters look good, but Mort definitely does..looking at the evidence with this one, and a similar one in Secrets of Venice. You can see the standard RCTU architecture scattered throughout the screen, although the architecture in this area is stronger then any other in the park. The 3D show looks really nice, as do most of the buildings.
Here you see a shot of the dueling looping wooden coasters, "Prince of Darkness/Prince of Peace". Each of the two completely separate layouts incorporates a vertical loop somewhere in their layout, at the most unexpected times...which is a cool part of this ride, yet most of the ride's layout before and after the loop is quite boring. Still, this part here looks nice, located in front of a very nice (although symmetrical) building. I'm guessing its Prince Ashitaka's work here due to the textures used and style of architecture.
Finally, a shot of the park's entrance area, where you can sorta make out the "LT" (I think that's what it says) sprawled out in red flowers. You also see one of the better looking custom flat rides I've seen in a while. Other then that..there's some more architecture on display..and tiny tasters of the queue line for "Terrorizor Tales", the Prince duelers barely sneak onto the screen, and in the bottom right you can barely see the "Omen" giga coaster. Nice job guys, but next time liven it up a little bit!
