New Element is proud to present Mystic Sands, an RCT Fusion park!
Featuring two of NE's rising stars, JKay and Richie, this park exudes
a sense of fun and excitement different from many parks often
advertised on the site, and makes no qualms about using loud colors,
bright schemes, and blocked out themed sections. In many ways, it
really reminds me of Universal Hawaii, which isn't surprising, since
JKay crafted that fine work as well.
We begin with the Mystic Sands Hotel, lcoated in the entrance of the
park. Hotels might not be commonly viewed as JKay's forte (but they
will soon...), but this is a fun one. JKay displays some of the best
use of white walls anywhere, and his bold reds and golds really pop
out. The inclusion of the wild vegetation and flowers is a nice touch
and really gives a unique touch to the park.
Jungle Boat Plunge is a beautiful water coaster by JKay and Richie.
Located in a tropical area that showcases some of Richie's talents,
this ride really has a beautiful sense of atmosphere to it, reminding
me of the ambiance of a very old park, Sierra Falls Thrill Park.
There's almost a nostalgic sense to this area, which shows that JKay
can be "traditional" when he wants to be
Right next door is Tropicana, a five-inversion B&M inverted coaster by
Richie. This pleasant area makes nice integration of orange and green
to give a very sunny feel to the park, which itself just has that
enthusiasm that JKay works always seem to give. Richie's
contributions, though visually overlooked simply because JKay always
pops out, adds a very nice touch, tempering the "wild and crazy" look,
in a way. So congratulations to JKay on his continued roll and Richie
on his continued rise!
