Evil WME certainly is one of the more well rounded parkmakers, able to craft fine works in RCT 2, as shown in his Pro Tour entry, or in plain Loopy Landscapes, as shown in Universal’s Lost World. Though not necessarily his best work, it still shows some nice theming and coaster design, and it’s certainly worth exploring.
Mr. Fantastic is based on the old Marvel comic, of course. Here is an interesting mix of a flying coaster with an urban setting… a theme rarely done well. This is an exception, though, as WME mixes enough foliage and variety to make the buildings look like they fit in. While the flier has its slow parts, it’s still a pretty nice ride, playing with train flips that tease which orientation riders will prevail upon.
Discovery Island Hotel is a refreshing bit of architecture located in the middle of the park. With several waterslides and remote access by boat, it certainly is a nice bit of craftsmanship.
Then there is The Unicorn. You’d figure to find one of these magical creatures frolicking along a secluded forest, but this isn’t a conventional unicorn. Instead, it’s a furious launched rampage though a desert landscape and eight twisted inversions. While the theming is a little bare, it seems that this park is more of an attempt toward a plainer, Schuessler-esque style. At least Posix should love it, and others should enjoy it as well.
