The depth in this impresses again and again.

It's amazing how, some of the forms in this really aren't that complex or exciting, yet the atmosphere covers it so well. I mean, that brown building is just a box, but it looks amazing anyhow.

I would suggest you work on blending your textures where you are trying to show things as deteriorating, like the path in the lower left or the roof of the country store. Using newer mesh fences and mesh tile pieces, you can really blend the colors across those areas so they don't look like square tiles next to each other but rather actual patches of discoloration or decay.

Can't wait to see this in game. Definitely on spotlight watch for me

^ For sure, I think some of the deteriorating textures don't look quite right. Like the windows are perfect, for example.

But yea, this totally looks like small town America.

I'm not a fan of the building on the right... It seems underdetailed compared to the rest of the map. It looks like you were still working on the windows. Everything else is ace. Really, really atmospheric. Reminds me of highroll3r's work as well.

As FK said; to get more of the deterioration feel that you're going for I'd use the roof texture object and Liam's mesh netting object to try and 'break the grid' a little more.

Even though the brown building does 'work' I'd still maybe try to integrate maybe one additional texture to the predominantly muddy one that you have at the moment. Possibly a little more stone(?)

This is such an amazingly atmospheric park overall; I mean the discolouration of the ladder and sign supports that look like rust /drool.

I'm as excited as anyone else for this park, just be careful not to show the whole map in screens so there are still some fresh elements when we open it up in game.

Agreed on working a bit more on the deterioration. Such a pain to work with windows, I think I just got a little lazy here. Brown building will probably stay because I'm just not really looking for reasons to prolong this project any more, though I do agree with your assessment Liam. I will probably just brush up its textures a bit and call it good. Also, do you have any of highroll3r's work? I remember him, but not his work, and his profile appears to be empty.

Anyway, you guys are fantastic. It means so much to see you guys really connecting with this project.

@csw the way I see it, I can get a ridiculously higher amount of feedback by posting screenshots of just about everything along the way. I'm in it for the creation and feedback. I love making stuff, but I love to hear what people think about it as well. Only a few people post in-depth reviews once parks are released, so I'd rather just get good feedback along the way. Screenshots have become the emphasis, not parks. I'm not complaining, I think it's just the way of things, and I'm willing to adhere.

builds main street of desolated town.

better than most main streets of thriving theme parks.
