Very clean and neat. Perhaps add a bit more colour and life with the use of flowers.

I disagree, that would make it generic. The landscaping is the best thing about this screen. I'd make the supports black.

The colors are nice and the landscaping+foliage combo are actually very pleasant, but the ride layout doesn't really make sense. It also doesn't look so much like "floating islands" as it does" too lazy to build past this point". Supports look alright.

Yeah, why does this have to be fantasy? You've got the start of some really good realism here.

Agree that the landscaping is really good. I liked the supports too, until I saw that awkward bit that I doubt a train can actually fit through.

Please actually finish this. This is the best thing you've ever done.

It's fantasy because i'm certain the layout isn't realistic in any aspect. It also doesn't contain a lot of inverts. It's a good(-ish?) layout but i don't know a lot about coasters myself so it's not realistic at all. And have any of you ever seen a floating train bridge before? Or floating islands in general? It's more fantasy than realism to be honest.

I like this a lot. The layout, from what I can see flows nicely and the landscaping is really nice. However I would personally ditch the fantasy theme and just put water instead of making it floating islands.

Ehh, the layout may flow nicely and all that, it's what i was going for, but besides that it's unrealistic as hell. Besides, most of what's here is SO low that i can't possibly fit in water.

The idea i had in mind is that there's going to be a couple of seperated floating islands and that they've been taken over a long time ago by various different countries such as Britain, France and Germany and thus have a way to string various architectural styles and themes together in one content-filled fantasy park. I doubt it'll work in a realistic setting. I think the layouts i make will be critisized upon a lot when they're supposed to be realistic.

It doesn't have to be 100% realism or 100% fantasy, it can always be a blend with realistic architecture but slightly unrealistic layouts or whatever.  I say stay with what you are going for, you can always go back and add realistic entities if you change your mind.

Very impressive.  I'm not crazy about that station, otherwise I like it.

damn... wouter has matured in the rct sense, Nice work man.

  • Stoksy%s's Photo

Tim's point is that architecture + landscaping + station/lift could all be equally appealing in a realistic park.

Landscaping is the best thing here, really awesome job.
