The way the coaster interacts with the path and surrounding buildings is brilliant!

One of my favorite screens in quite a long time. Only real issue I have with it is the gray paths. They seem scattered too randomly, and without purpose, and draw my eye in to them too much due to the contrasting color.

I agree with itm about the grey path. But the rest is perfect. Is that Virginia reel in the bottom right meant to be there?

Good point, manual. I always change around the colours a lot, and sometimes a certain texture ends up not making much more sense... I overlooked the paths. I'll try to make it work again!

Poke, no. There was a floating ghost train track piece too but I edited that out in paint. :p

    Thanks for the lovely comments!

God this makes me want to play LL...

By the way, cut the invert trains to 8 cars. There is no such thing as a B&M invert with 9 car trains unless you count Alpengeist's zero car which isn't really a car. I don't know why the game uses 9 car trains.

Best screen from this project yet! I love this old school style of foliage/landscaping so much but I can never pull it off.
I'd change the white on the virginia reel awnings to yellow or dark orange.

What inthemanual said, but this is fantastic. I need to get LL...

    Weird mix. Richie??

I like it, but I think you'd stop recycling and do your own thing. Even if the appreciation you have is heart-warming.

Good point Bill, I'll change the trains. And alex, I'll play with the awnings.

I made the coaster's supports white which looks good, the grey path tiles fit in now.

Posix, Richie made the invert's layout. Lovely coaster! And for more pure Liam-work, check out my H2H park. :)

Oh, this park has a name now?
  • Chocotopian%s's Photo

Wonderful colours, and the helices on the coaster interact really well with the surrounding structures and foliage.

  • Louis!%s's Photo

the fir trees in the foliage seem a bit odd lol, apart from that its all lovely.

whats the weird black track on the coaster's brake run?

  • Cocoa%s's Photo

its definitely a lovely screen. my only issue... it just doesn't look like 'mexico'. Definitely some sort of generic tropical classic-LL vibe, but nothing specifically mexican about it. it reminds me a bit actually of the old tropico parks (which were great, so good work there) which were nice but a little bit theme-less if you get my drift

  • Liampie%s's Photo
Louis & Cocoa: the Tropico resemblance is very much intentional. Maybe the theme is Fatha, rather than Mexico. It's an exercise!
