Not crazy about the woody colors but this has a great atmosphere.

If it wasn't teal I'd suggest coloring the woodie black, or even the darker brown could look cool if you wanted a more "natural" coaster. Black would just echo the archy a bit.

I like what you have but the color choice is kind of terrible.  To much black and grey.

I like it, but there's also stuff I dislike about it. First of all the colours. It's so bleak! the bit on the left with the umbrellas does look great, so apparantly you're just one colour (yellow) away from a good look. I don't like the teal roofs, especially because it is surrounded by water. Makes the whole building blends into the background, and as a result the screen lacks depth. I guess that's why my eyes were attracted by the umbrellas... Another thing I don't like is the foliage. Again, where are the trees? I have a terrible feeling that this park is going to look quite barren, like FK's Nemica and some of his other old stuff.

    Let's talk solutions:
    - Make the coaster poop brown. The dark shiny one. Leave the track teal.
    - Add trees that are half-open; the type that you can spam all over the place without blocking any views. Chinese cedar and birch, for example. Wherever you can, place some thick trees.
    - Change the roof colour to something else. Not sure what, you didn't make it easy with an apparantly themeless area with wild colours. I guess the shit brown I suggested for the coaster will work here, especially if the coaster is also brown.
    - Rockwork top left can use some work
    - Find opportunities to add yellow. I'm not talking about mini details or trims and stuff, but also mid-sized surfaces such as the umbrellas. Maybe some canvases over a path/seating area. did you have helipads yet?
    - Speaking of helipads, and the area being themeless, try to add details that give your area a more distinct identity. What is this area's story?

    The atmosphere is incredible.

I'll try some different colors in here, put some of your suggestions in to place Liam. Actually this is the only spot probably in this section without trees because I wanted the peeps to see the river rapids, but using some trees with higher foliage would do the trick. I'll splash around the colors a bit more too. Thanks for the feedback everyone, glad you like the atmosphere.

Should I make the rocks more jagged?

Also, I will have a readme that will explain each section of the park, so this area will come together upon it's release.

Before I get too carried away with changing things, here's an updated pic with some color changes.

I think it looks far better already.

Yup, it's improving. Poop brown for coaster and roof didn't work out, or didn't you try? I'm curious to see what it would look like!

I think the roof looked better in the original, much better. I'd say get rid of the teal full stop on the coaster as well. The coaster should be the stand out attraction in the area, so making it the same colour as everything else takes away from it.

Most color scheme re-posts of all time coming up...

    Poop Brown for Liam

MUCH better. Gives the area a break from the blue.

  • bigshootergill%s's Photo

Yeah, I like the brown too. I leave the roof light brown I think, it's growing on me.

  • Liampie%s's Photo
I think both of those work, but I prefer the first one, with the coaster still blue.

from a realistic standpoint the screen with the brown track looks better. but I like the blue track like liam said. It gives it character (like this park doesn't already :p).
