    Wow! Love this!

    whaaaaaaaaat

  • G Force%s's Photo

    Why is this so zoomed out?

    It feels a lot like Liseberg, which isn't really a bad thing.  A lot of the appeal for me with that park was the new and fresh feel it had, which isn't really the case here.  Still it's quite good.

    It's very good! Full of fun details and things to discover, just how i like it. It's also quite clinical, though, lacking the imperfections that make real places feel real. Cracks in the road, differently coloured bricks, stuff like that. A little of that here and there can do wonders. All the windows in the apartment block bottom left are the same, there are no stories behind them! Make one or two stand out, I'd say. Show that there are people living in this city!

    You work amazinlgy fast!

    I agree with both G Force and Liam. Brilliant work, but similar to Liseberg. But that's understandable, seeing how both parks are situated in the same country with the same sort of surroundings. Surroundings which indeed look very nice and worked out, but just need a bit of livening up.

    @RWE, @csw – Thanks guys!

    @G Force – I think I screwed up with the resolution.

    I guess I have a similar approach to this park, as with Liseberg – hence the similarities.

    I feel I found my “style” with Liseberg, and I feel no need to change it. I’m just aiming to improve it. But I get your point though.

    @Liampie - Glad you like it. You point out important things. I’ll take them into consideration. I guess one of the reasons why this park is yet so clinical and formulaic is because the real park is very, very, hectic. And I’m worried it will just look like a big mess in RCT.

    Also, the park is still in an early stage, but I worry about the object limit. Probably why I haven’t added the small things yet, the things that really makes a park come to life.

    @Jappy – Thanks, Jappy!

    I’ll try to add more “life” as the project progress.

    Love it!

    Also, I may have to steal your firetrucks for one of my projects. I was procrastinating building one, but I did intend to do it, plus now you've inspired me. I'll try to make mine unique! :p

    Great. I love the firetruck.

  • MCI%s's Photo

    This is insane!

    Brilliant...

  • Bubbsy41%s's Photo

    Wow! This is fantastic!  Although I do agree with Liam that it needs some imperfections to add a more realistic feel.  Also it feels exactly like Liseberg but IMO that's not an issue.  The firetrucks and gym in the fire house are amazing so many great ideas!

    it's important to never gain an identity as a player and to change your style to fit the current realism meta. unfortunately for you, that means your work is outdated by 6 whole months. still, a 75% though. the firetruck is ok

  • F0ndue%s's Photo

    Took me a moment to realize that the trucks weren't just a dedicated object, but built from normal pieces. Amazing.

  • Coasterbill%s's Photo

    So good. God damn.

  • mintliqueur%s's Photo

    Brilliant, simply brilliant. Though I always thought that building was the tram shed rather than a fire department? Is the brick building Liljevalchs konsthall btw?

  • Lagom%s's Photo

    @bigshootergill – Thanks. That’s ok :)

    I can’t wait to see yours.

    @Faas, @MCI, @Live on earths ass, @Coasterbill - Thank you! Glad you like it.

    @Bubbsy41 – Yes, you guys definitely have a point. I’ll see what I can do.

    @Shotguns? – I love to read your comments; they always put a smile on my face. Yet, I understand if people would like to see something different. I can’t blame anyone. I sometimes feel the very same way. Hopefully Gröna Lund will bring something different from Liseberg - but yes – with a lot of similarities.

    @mintliqueur – Thanks. I think you’re right about it being a tram shed In real life. When I passed by in Google Street view and saw this … I decided to make it a fire department instead. Thought It would be fun to build. And yes, the brick building is meant to be Liljevalchs konsthall. Glad you noticed. It’s still under construction though.

    EDIT: @Jappy - :D

  • Jappy%s's Photo

    Aaawww man! As a railway enthusiast, I protest! I demand my tram shed! :D

  • G Force%s's Photo
    I feel its a bid odd there is a tram right in front of a fire station. Seem like it could be a safety issue if there was a breakdown or something like that.

    Red trim around the cut-aways is starting to bother me a bit, maybe chose a color that is a bit less overpowering?
  • Liampie%s's Photo
    Cars can break down too... It's traffic. I think the car park is a bigger threat to the fire department's response time. Lagom, I'd make a clearer distinction between what is the road and what is car park. Maybe a darker shade of grey for the road, with fuzzy edges, which will also help making the sidewalk less weird. It looks like the peeps are walking on the road...

    Oh, I'd also swap the tall trees for trees that are a bit wider. Add some shade to the area.

    As I thought then! Stellar job on the fire trucks so not a complaint from me. Just flaunting my local knowledge! :)
