Flanges on the supports for the spinner should be the main color of the supports, otherwise I'll probably lose my mind.

I'd remove the grass infront of the buildings if your going for accuracy, I don't think houses in NY ghettos have nice lawns like that.

Rest looks pretty good, not a massive fan of the grey roofs but it's not a huge issue.

Desperately needs some colourful graffiti pieces! No idea how you would create them though..

If you could fit in a fake railway bridge going above a street with a painted up subway car like this - https://images-na.ss...ooper_34_LG.jpg
that would be really cool. Maybe as an area entrance?

I thought about a subway train... But I never knew where to put it until now... Thanks Alex! Gonna build it right now!

BTW, I did try something graffiti-esque, all those colourful pieces on the wall of the white building. Not sure what else to use. I'll think about it.

Let's try this again, shall we?

Wow, much better.  Might I suggest changing up some of the textures of the flat roofs.  It would give a more realistic vibe and the feeling they weren't all built as the same structure.

Bridge is great though, would be awesome if you could somehow incorporate the tram into the park or at least the area.

Great screen! Needs more police brutality.

    Edit: maybe some broken windows?

I really like this. Great archy, and great idea to add those basketball courts. I think the whole square is very clever, you took a lot of ugly features like steel fences, the basketball hoops and a dead tree and turned them into a feature that contributes to the theme. The subway is a good addition, but you can definitely refine the graffiti. Graffiti is usually a messy cluster of lines rather than coloured blocks. Consider using a combination of trims and text (3d signs). Lastly I think that maybe it was a mistake to go with this East coast look for this area, because it kinda resembles the archy in your other areas a bit. It would've been harder to pull off, but a more suburban West coast look (think GTA San Andreas and GTA V) could've made this area more distinct from the others. You're nailing this though, so no big deal.

One more complaint: fence chaos along the right edge of the screen. Maybe stick with tall ugly steel fences for this area.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments!

@G Force: Well, the rooves are all the same texture because they are all the same one tile object. The park is getting pretty big and detailed, and I'm far from finished... i need to start thinking about object saving.

@Faas: I actually wanted to add a police car, but I haven't gotten round to it yet! I'm also not sure if I'm going to. The broken glass idea on the other hand is a nice one, but do you have suggestions on how to achive that look? I'm not sure how.

@Liampie: thanks for the feedback. The fences are a simple fix, consider it done. The graffiti... gonna be tricky to get right, but I'll give it a try! About the architecture, I was a bit worried it might look too similar to Rock Zone USA, but it actually isn't that bad. Yes, there are similarities, but the atmosphere is different enough to set them apart. Also, one of my main advisers suggested me to get a NY/Brooklyn look, and since my knowledge about rap music is zero, I went for his advice... :p

Just type broken glass or broken window in the object selection menu in openrct. Something might pop up.

For broken windows, just use objects to cover up the windows, like angled deco pieces. It looks like a repaired windowed.

For a police car, there is an object already made if you have a spare slot available.

    Nice atmosphere!

I think a graffity-packed alley, with maybe some washing lines or some more fire escapes would really benefit the row of buildings to break them up a bit.

A food truck serving food on the road would be perfect here. The rest looks great!

It looks like you might be missing a block on the water tower on the top of the building.

It now looks like you've fixed said missing block. Either that or I was drunk last night.
