    Interesting.

I do have a question though, why do you not finish the layouts before constructing anything else?

I don't know.  I like to finish the station before having track all over the place.  I would have completed the layout before posting but it completely slipped my mind.  Plus this is my first time using many quarter and 1/16 pieces so I was eager to see what I could do with them.

I'd like to see the flooring in both buildings match, the lower level is a little too brown.  Why is there a slit in the middle of the roof? Looks especially strange with the walled roof objects.  I would also maybe chose another colour for the pergola, I see no reason they need to be the same as the ground and cliffs, they are purely ornamental so some contrast would be nice.

Thank you for the comments and constructive criticism.  I'll change the colors around.  I guess my thought process for the split roof was to break up the monotony of it, but if it doesn't work I'll change it.

I really like the queue line. It's original and funny. The priority would be to change the roof of the station. Foliage will need more work later.

Needs something to break up the brown coupled with everything else that's been said.

It might be different for you but in general it is easier to construct everything else around a layout.

the reasons why people usually complete the layout first:

    - layouts need to be good. no point working on something only to find there's no way it will ever look good

    - the layout will v much dictate the content of the area. what if you need to dig a big trench for a drop to go into? now you have to delete all your hard work. what if you need to move the station? o shit now you have to delete your hard work

I definitely see what you guys are saying.  I'll take that into consideration the next time I do something.  Thank you for the advice.

It definitely shows potential, but there's a few things just off.  For one the small turn into the lift makes it look squarish, and coaster offer the most possibility to eliminate the square look.  1/4 tile queues are generally falling out of favor due to the odd look with peeps and the scale looks off especially when it reaches the station.  The recolored foliage also isn't working; changing leaves color works fine, but changing the trunk is almost never going to work.
