year looks pretty good , but i think there is not enough detail at the white house in the front ... i don`t know

The size of the buildings look a bit out of scale, but other than that i think its really refreshing...good work!

The buildings are definitely too big in comparison to the rest, but I love the atmosphere and the unconventional colours of the building on the left.

Same as above really. Sweet atmosphere though!

I really like the bold colour choices you're making.  The purple building alone really appeals to me.   That, and the one in the centre, with its very clean curved balcony.  Nice work!

This is looking very promising. The individual buildings look great, but together not su much... With some recolouring you might fix that. Also, you forgot the vertical poles on the fence on the right.

But as I said, very promising.

I see a lot of 'scale' problems and I completely agree; it's an issue that I'm having at the moment. It's just that looking at mainstreet buildings there's always quite a few floors, which I'm trying to portray in the screens. Unfortunately in doing so I get a little carried away and end up with these oversized buildings; any tips to improve on it would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks for the feedback.

I think one thing that I try to do when I think of scale is trying to make a unit out of things. A quarter-height wall is best, being slightly smaller than a peep, or roughly 3-4 ft; four of those makes up a full-height wall, so roughly 12-15' in height. If you add one more quarter-height wall for structure, you have five pieces and a pretty good size for one floor of a building, give or take for ornamentation. That way, it's substantial enough for the viewers out of the game, but not so huge that it ends up dwarfing peeps.

you nailed it robbie, one of my few dislikes in stoksy's work is that the way he scales buildings is off. i always make them 4 ingame units high, with usually some space inbetween for detailing
