Casimir became an active member of the RCT Community through the German site RCT-world.com six years ago. After becoming familiar with egg_head and being introduced to New Element, Casimir went from strength to strength, becoming a member of RCT Majesty, and also a member of the Head-2-Head 5 winning team, the Hurricanes. A few months later, Casimir brings us his first solo Accolade, World Amusements Rome!

Upon entering the park, guests are welcomed into a cozy entrance area, themed to the park's location, Rome. The pillars and statues make for a very prominent atmosphere, accurately representative of its theme. If the guests are to advance into the park, they must advance through an admittedly featureless building. Heading anti-clockwise, we see the ancient Rome themed swingers, housed within a dilapidated Pantheon-style structure. Behind this structure is an odd feature, part of a tram line that leads off the map, in a windy, tour style fashion. Maybe this could be the basis of a spin-off project in the future, who knows? (apart from the man himself, of course)

Continuing on into the next area, a heavily atmospheric Asian themed section, we are struck by a majestic structure sat atop a rugged hill. Underneath this lies the adventure ride; Myanmaji Palace, a windy exploration of the interior of the Palace under which it lies. Behind a veil of fire, water and smoke lies the topspin, Liong, which spins and twist riders around in the shadow of the Palace. Beneath its pagoda canopy, The Emperors Jewel, a spinning cups ride gives smaller guests some excitement in this fantastically themed area.

When guests are ready to leave this area, they arrive in the largest area of the park. A Nordic themed area, and contains some more modern architecture compared to the rest of the park. This area mostly rests on the water, and contains the parks only roller coaster, Lindworm. The wooden roller coaster’s layout is certainly original, if a little weak in places. The station for this ride certainly makes up for any inadequacies in the layout. The loading platform is cased within the body of a gigantic fire-breathing, monocular dragon. Other rides within this charmingly themed section include Yaarr, an enterprise with a surprisingly long waiting time for a ride with no peeps queuing, and a Swinging inverter ship named Flood. At the back corner of the park, there is another irregular feature, a tram station which leads off the map. In front of the station there is a wall indicating the queue times of the rides. This leads us to believe that there is perhaps more of the park, as mentioned above, maybe this is an alternate entrance to the park.

Overall, this is a very strong park, with few faults, but very much deserving of the Accolade. Congratulations on your first solo win, Casimir! Hopefully this has opened the flood gate to many more fruitful projects, good luck on your future parks!
