It's been a while since our last spotlight, and we're going back to Loopy Landscapes style with this one. One of the toughest choices of all time for the spotlight this round, roomraider's
Arnos Springs Resort prevailed, earning him his second spotligh. What started as a simple revamp of his legendary "Arnos Grove" amusement park, turned into an all-out project, an in the end, roomraider leaves his mark on yet another classical fantasy park here at New Element.
You gotta look at roomraider's parks differently from others to really enjoy them the way I do. So much stuff to do, so many coasters to ride, you're bound to get a full day of thrills with every visit to any roomraider park. Arnos Springs is no different, and to make it even better, it's two maps. The first map features a huge assortment of coasters, and starts off in the Hurricane Beach area of the park. Here, you'll find the "Hurricane Beach Twister", a very cool looking OD Hopkins Looping Coaster. To the left of Hurricane Beach you have "The Wilderness", where a ton of coasters await. First off, there's "Grizzly Run", a coaster that originally started off as "The Sheriff" in Arnos Grove, but was dramatically improved. There's also the one of a kind "Mountain Biking Xtreme", a 'motorcross' adventure ride, definitely one of the coolest in the entire park. If you went right from Hurricane Beach, you'll find yourself in Arnos Creek, where you'll find yet another three coasters. Next up is the Agrabar area of the park, which features what used to be Arnos Grove's featured attraction (The Warrior), and was turned into "Lone Warrior", a new and improved version of the same kind. Then in an attempt to outdo the classic monster, the park built "Tormenta de Feugo", a huge custom looping rocket coaster, possibly the best ride in the entire resort. Finally, a Lost City area featuring an inverted coaster, reverse freefall, log flume, and tons more as well. And this is only half the adventure! The Resort map features the BEST SINGLE HOTEL I've ever seen in RCT, the "Jurassic Point Hotel" created by x-sector in the northern corner of the park. Not to mention yet another incredible hotel created by mantis, the "Mt. Fuji Hotel". roomraider also came to work here, building 7 coasters on the resort map, including "Raptor" (what used to be 'Iron Eagle' in the original park) and "Prehistoric Escape", a Vekoma Tilt Coaster. Definitely check out the Lost World Pens as well, where the "Partical Cannon" impulse coaster sits. Tons of cool little bonuses thrown all through this map, including the Loch Ness Monster, the attacked ship, and Evil WME's "Pick a Slide Elevator Complex". Great job roomraider, and congratulations on your win!
