Congratulations on find # 2! You've found City of Dreams by x-sector, mantis, and Toon. Originally known as "LOS (yes...the same LOS) Map 1", the three of these tremendous fantasy parkmakers buckled down (especially x-sector) and finished this park, creating possibly the best, and definitely most insane fantasy park NE has seen since Mala! Taking two different themes....dreams and cities, and merging them together was the genius idea of mantis, and the final product is something I couldn't be more proud of. The latest New Element Collaboration, and the first one to ever win the coveted Spotlight crown. Great job to the three of you, and great job to everyone else on your find.
The first thing you may notice in this park is....there's no entrance! Well, actually there is, it's just the most unconventional park entrance ever concieved. Visitors must enter the park via hot-air balloon, and settle down into the Balloon Landing Pad located in the center of the park!! The rest of the areas are as brave and unique as Balloon HQ. Starting off with the first area built in the park, and my overall favorite themed area ever created, "New-New York City" by x-sector. A futuristic look at the future New York skyline, fully equipped with beautiful architecture, Mala-styled coasters, and insane landscaping. It's here you'll find the "Planet Express Delivery", a set of launched, racing GCI Wooden Coasters. There's so much to explore in this one area...I could fill up twenty pages describing how much I love this area. The next area completed was mantis' "High Time City", a drug induced trippy-dream-city, as he so eloquently put. "Automatic High" is the big-name ride here, a launched B&M Vertical Coaster that is possibly the most awkward looking coaster of all time, but it somehow works to perfection. mantis' style of parkmaking fits this theme so perfectly it's scary. Toon then went to work on the Shangri-La area of the park, an Asian utopia that contrasts perfectly from the rest of the park. Featuring "Lost Horizons", the sprawling Inverted Coaster that serves as the sequel to Stratford Fair's "Iago". You'll also find some great sculptures here by Toon, including the initial Hot-AIr Balloon and even A Golden Buddha! Then X-Sector went to work, and finished the last two areas. Tech City is a monstrous technilogical beast of a city, imposing over the quiet waters below. With glass and steel framework everywhere, this high voltage electric city will definitely leave you breathless. And finally, San Francisco 2050, taking some inspiration from Fatha's H2H2 rounds out the park nicely. Featuring some great abstract-station architecture, and some really great bonuses such as the Golden Gate Bridge. Amazing job to the three of you who finished, and extra kudos to X for working so hard to get this amazing park finished. Fantasy parkmakers of the world unite!
