Who else is tired of Nate's dominance at New Element? Starting off by winning the second Spotlight ever with Disney's Beautiful World. He went on to create Land of the Villain, a coaster-packed mega park that went from Runner-Up to Spotlight in the 2003 NE Awards. Then Nate goes and wins our first ever coaster contest, the Legends Challenge. Following all this, he releases his best park to date, Disney's Discovery Island, which jumps to #1 on the List, grabs him the 2002 Parkmaker of the Year spot, and his third spotlight. Where do we go from here? How bout Spotlight number four, the first to ever do that, with yet another Disney creation, Disney's Forgotten Kingdom

While I usually really try to stay away from "sequel" parks as much as possible, I really had a hard time considering DFK as a sequel to Disney's Discovery Island. It was just the next amazing park in the long line-up of Nate's credited Disney parks. It's strange how someone so known for not using color in his parks has somehow taken a monopoly over the most colorful park company in the world. While DFK doesn't rank as high on the List as DDI...that's really not a fair evaluation of the park. Individually, Disney's Forgotten Kingdom is better then either map from DDI, but since DDI had two maps going for it, it still sits in the top 5, while DFK sits at #7 currently on my List. The park starts in Horseshoe Bay, a subtle little entrance area that immediately sends people to Manjali Village, where they can ride the newest Indiana Jones ride (a choose your adventure indoor ride) or "Temple of Sheer Kahn", the headline ride of this area, a one of a kind water ride. The middle island, Treasure Island, looks like something from a RRP park, and features "Lost Mines of Fire Mountain" and "Pirates of Treasure Island" as its main rides. The Empire is next, the most creative themed area ever seen from Nate. Here, custom-coaster-architecture takes a step up as can be seen with the beautiful church, and the park's all-around #1 ride.."Emperous Hotel", a newer adaption of Tower of Terror. Nate's first real Atlantis area ever, including several great attractions, and a sandy Agrabah area round out his best single map to date. Great job Nate, and with this, your very unique Hi-Rollers Entry, and your area in LOS, it looks like you've found your niche once again...can anybody say Parkmaker of the Year again?
