W.......o........w......The only word I could mutter out when looking at this masterpiece of a park sent in only last night. Becoming only the second RCT2 spotlight in New Element's history, and not only that....but claiming #1 on my List!!!! Congratulations to Butterfinger for his Euroscape, a gigantic 256x256 portrait of perfection. The theming and architecture was so detailed, that the game actually ran out of memory, and the Platypus had to expand it onto a minimap to finish his vision of the perfect European experience.
Cross the bridge over the Mediterranean Sea, hang a left and get ready to encounter the ultimate European resort...as the opening message indicates. From that point on, it's all up to you where you go. The park opens up with a gorgeous entrance section, decked in golds and purples, and fully equipped with all the must-haves in an entrance area. Veering left, you enter the park's largest area (possibly the biggest area I've ever seen), Espaniola, the park's Spanish area. Featuring some of the most absolutely dazzling architecture I've ever seen in RCT2, as well as two world class coasters. "La Tempistad" and the amazing "Taurus" wooden coaster, which dips in and out of the area, including a near-miss with the park's live rodeo stadium. Continuing on, you'll hit Highland Pointe, the Scottish themed area. "Highland Fling" stays here, a very smooth and flowing Schwarzkopf looper. Great landscaping, sloped pathways, and beautiful architecture everywhere. The Greek Isles gives a really different taste, and features both "Atlantica" and "Trojan Assault", which recreates the battle of Troy, including a custom made wooden horse. The Fermanagh Fen area represents Ireland very well, and is highlighted by the "Blairney Stone" wooden coaster. The last area on the main map is the Eurotropics Resort, which features the "EuroStar" classic woody. Butter extended the park onto a second, much smaller map, but still features three great themed areas, all of top quality (possibly my favorite three areas of the whole resort, excluding Espaniola). Well, Butter has reached a new plateau with this park. Possibly surpassing ToonTowner as the ultimate RCT2 prescence at New Element. Great job. |
