New Element V.2 is kicked off with a brand new spotlight from one of everyone's favorite parkmakers: Schuessler! Coming off Moonlight Magic, which remains one of the greatest parks in RCT history, Schuessler takes a much more modern approach with his latest park, Islands of Adventure Hollywood. IOA Hollywood is Universal's answer to the latest rush of Disney parks invading New Element. IOA Hollywood has remained one of the most anticipated parks coming out, and it's time for it to shine. A park that really grew on me, every time I looked at it, I'd enjoy it more and more until finally I decided it was Spotlight Material. I'm sure the rest of the world will have the same feel of this incredible park.

IOA Hollywood starts off with a beautiful Port of Entry, which unlike the one in Orlando, Florida, takes a very ancient type of feel to it. Some beautiful architecture and a great entrance plaza show why Schuessler is possibly the best at park entrances (Moonlight Magic is another good example). Turning left, you'd hit the first Island, the westcoast version of Marvel Super Hero Island. Here, in place of Incredible Hulk, you will find "Spider-Man", an incredible B&M Launched Inverted Coaster based on the recent mega-hit movie of the same name. The next island is based on the popular movie: The Mummy, Hammanaptra. This has become my favorite themed area in the park, and features two coasters, "Scorpion King", the Vekoma Family Coaster, and "The Mummy: Chamber of Doom", which you'll have to find out on your own. The next Island is Isla Sorna - Restricted Area, based on Jurassic Park. This island features the adult version of "Pteradon Flyers", a beautiful Flyer that scales a huge mountain. Merlinwood Forest is next, and features a classic B&M Floorless Coaster: "Dragon Flight". Rounding out the park is The Lost Continent, which features a very unique style of Atlantis theming, and a huge water ride in "Poseidon's Fury", as well as my favorite RCT Stage ever in "The 8th Voyage of Sinbad". Let this park grow on you, and I guarentee that this park will go down in history as yet another Schuessler masterpiece.
