Congratulations on your find! You've found The Aegean by natelox aka "Project Warchild" during construction. This makes for nate's fifth spotlight, easily making him the most accomplished parkmaker in New Element history. Nate doesn't get enough credit for his place at this site, but if there was any one parkmaker that really defined what NE was all about, it'd be Nate. Straying away from his popular Disney parks, he took a significant change in style and created this one of a kind park, with elegant theming, unique architecture, and incredibly detailed rides.
The park starts off in the Cartegena area of the park, the encompassing entrance area. The tan and white architecture at first glance may appaer to be overused, but really it works beautifully. There are windows peering out over all of Cartagena, car garages, statues, bell towers, a live bull-fighting show, and even a couple rides...most notably "C-IV", a custom flat ride so perfect you'd swear Nevis made it. Continuing on through the park, you'll get to Athina, the Greek themed area. Two of the park's most exciting rides can be found here: "The Odyssey", a Coaster Ed-esque adventure ride that throws in some never before seen elements, and "Voyage For Sirius", my favorite ride in the park...a trackless Liquid Coaster with a tremendous dropping finale. Both rides display beautiful grace and style, words that you might not have used to describe former nate parks. The next area is Tunisa, based on the Northern African nation. While not quite as elegant as Athina, it's just as impressive...and finally shows off some of nate's wooden coaster abilities in "Ras El Arada". Also the four-custom tower drop complex "The Flying Machine" is here, plus some really cool docks. The third area is the Tuscany area, the last area completed. One of Nate's trademark rapids rides: "Rapids of Monaceros" is here, definitely the best one he's ever created, one of my favorite all-time rapids rides. Also check out the "Streets of Venice", a trackless go-kart adventure through the deserted streets. Another flat ride conventiently sits in this part of the park as well. Finally, you'll hit the Marrakech area of the park, the sandy wonderland that houses "Palio", an ultra-realistic, ultra-amazing S&S Thrust Air 2000, and "Spartel", a Vekoma Family Coaster taken directly from Elrocko's Lloyd Harbor park. The architecture here is beautiful, the stage show is perfect, and the landscaping before all is superb. Congratulations nate on yet another Spotlight! What would NE be without you?
