Merry Christmas to all here at New Element! As a gift, we present to you the latest spotlight,
Tropico Horizons by Fatha' Grinch! This makes Fatha' the fourth multi-spotlight winner, joining parkmakers PyroPenguin (2), NeViS (2), and Natelox (3). An incredible park, the sequel to Tropico Cove, which also took home spotlight honors, and actually currently #1 on The List, somehow dethroning DDI. Congrats Fatha, and merry christmas everybody!
The park starts off in the Avalon: City of Myths area of the park, the beautiful medieval area, which features two great coasters. First off, Fatha's best Beemer to date, the amazing "Paladin" floorless coaster which features an incredible layout and an SA-reminiscent Cobra Roll. "Ruins of Mythos" is the other, a very nice liquid coaster that compliments the area very nicely. Moving on, and crossing a bridge, and you'll find yourself in the Victoria area of the park. Here, you'll find some absolutely breathtaking architecture and the latest Giga to date (and possibly the best), "Demeter", a great airtime packed version. Beautiful landscaping really helps this area out, as the grey paths definitely work ;). Up next, my favorite area of the park, the best Egypt ever, Thebes. Here you'll find two world-class coasters. "Egyptian Flying Machine", a heavily themed B&M Flying Coaster and the latest adventure ride, "Excavation", possibly the best one around. Finally, rounding out the park, is Old Arizona, following up Tropico Cove's Western Tropics area. Here, you'll find one the most influential mine trains, which managed to do so while being unreleased! "Spider Mountain", already a legendary coaster. A beautiful log ride also resides in the western area. Really, the areas each exemplify perfection for their corrseponding themes, which is why it's at #1 on The List. A mixture of drab & bright theming give for a beautiful balance. Congratulations Fatha' Grinch and Merry Christmas New Element!
