After problems with Gearhost and problems with being ripped off, we're gonna finally try to get this site moving in the right direction again. Congratulations to x-sector for winning his second Spotlight with Universal's Outrage. Following up X's latest streak of Disney parks, including his spotlight winning "California DisneySea" and his super runner up, "Disney Extreme Orlando", he moves over to Universal Studios and creates an outstanding park that is definitely worthy of this title.

The park starts off with a nice, tropical park entrance. Straw huts and lush foliage run wild all throughout the area, a great job of capturing the tropic feel with such great use of the bushes and flowers that seem overgrown through the entrance. Also check out "Paradise Falls", a rather simple, yet effective water ride that seems etched into the gigantic mountain of Universal's Outrage. The first themed area you'll encounter is the watery "Atlantis Sea Base", a theme x-sector really perfected. Fish tanks, jumping dolphins, and hi-tech buildings are scattered throughout the base. The incredible "Aqua Dome" is a prime example of what to expect. Also you can hop aboard "Ship: The Explorer", or even "The Great White", a very nicely executed Fish Hook. Next, you'll run into Black Moon Quarry, a giant dark area featuring two coasters and tons of amazing architecture. "Symbiotes" is a pair of launched, dueling inverted coasters that are very heavily inspired by the duelers in Mala's "Mount Sinister" park. Then there's "Purple Haze", an excellent mine train. Tons of interesting little hacks and perhaps the best architecture in the map. Up next is my favorite area in the park, "Ports of Discovery". Based on the theming of TyLine California, the checkered path and hi-tech buildings and rides come together to create a masterful mix of innovation and execution. "The Experience" is a wonder all in it's own, a B&M Floorless Coaster that launches through a gigantic wooden temple, around whirlpools, and more. The architecture is incredible (check out Outer Space Building and the Discovery Store for prime examples). Unique rides like "Flymo", "Gravity", "Aquatopia", and "Terrorvision" all compliment the area nicely. Finally, Tempation Island, a wonderful tropic area highlighted by the light blue wooden coaster "Ripcurl", a hacked monster featuring multiple stall-outs, half pipes, and loops. "Subtropic Bounce" is a very creative set of S&S Towers, and some beautiful architecture through the entire area (in the entire park really). Congrats again x-sector for winning his second ever spotlight, following up his victory in the Blockbuster Challenge and really stepping up as one of NE's premier parkmakers once again.
