@Chorkiel You really think Blue Slide Park was good? Like top 10 worthy? That CD was terrrrrible haha

I don't really have a top 10 so I will just share my 3 favorite cds from this year.
    3. CunninLynguists - Oneirology - The cd was brilliantly produced. Anyone that hasn't checked them out before should check them out http://www.youtube.c...h?v=Ng9pCSkTZ54
    2. blink-182 - Neighborhoods - While slightly disappointing, the cd still has some great songs like http://www.youtube.c...h?v=6f4KU7h6I70
    1. Drake - Take Care - I used to hate Drake SO much, but now he is one of my favorites out there. The first half of the CD(excluding Headlines) consists of my 5 favorite songs of the year. http://www.youtube.c...h?v=N-OMhv8BwnU

Unlike most people, I love this generation of music AS WELL AS the 60s, the 70s, the 80s, and the 90s.

    ^I didn't like enough albums for a top10 :p
But I don't get what people don't like about blue slide park, I mean not all songs are great but most of it was pretty good. a lot of the songs actually grow on you when you listen them more.
Donald Trump is still my favorite though.
  • Wanted%s's Photo
I guess I'm just not the biggest fan of Mac Miller haha

However, Donald Trump, Knock Knock, The Spins, and Senior Skip Day are all really awesome(none of which are on Blue Slide Park)
  • 5dave%s's Photo

The seven comedy albums I bought that were released this year, because that's more fun than the hipster shit I listen to. From favorite to not as favorite, but they're all fantastic, because I have incredible taste in everything.

    1. Marc Maron- This Has to be Funny
    2. Louis CK- Hilarious
    3. Rory Scovel- Dilation
    4. Patton Oswalt- Finest Hour
    5. Eddie Pepitone- A Great Stillness
    6. The Sklar Brothers- Hendersons and Daughters
    7. Pete Holmes- Impregnated With Wonder

The 2011 harvest is decent, but none of the albums stands out. This is not really my style, but I cannot pick my favourite album this year. Five albums are tied at #1. Each album is totally different, and all are either on the edge of my personal taste or have some major flaws that keep them from standing out. All fun albums, but none is groundbreaking.

    1. The Devin Townsend Project - Ghost (because it's so goddamn peaceful. Sometimes too minimal for my liking.)

    Posted Image

    1. The Devin Townsend Project - Deconstruction (because it's so goddamn crazy. Sometimes too heavy for my liking.)

    Posted Image

    1. Dream Theater - A Dramatic Turn of Events (because it has some seriously fascinating tunes)

    Posted Image

    1. Symphony X - Iconoclast (because it's 50% filler and 50% cool and it has more keyboards than their previous album)

    Posted Image

    1. Alestorm - Back Through Time (because they don't take themself too serious... which is evident in the music. Pure fun.)

    Posted Image

    (gap)

    6. Nightwish - Imaginaerum (not at #1 because they became too emo over the last few albums and there's more orchestra than band. No keyboards = no colour)

    Posted Image

    Everything after #6 is forgettable.

Hopefully 2012 will have some GREAT albums again. :)

I'll have to add Grace for Drowning by Steven Wilson, even though I only got it a few days ago.
Nice to see Heritage so often in these lists. You, Liampie, might also want to give it a try if you havent already.

I did... I really anticipated that album, but once I got it I couldn't sit through. The lack of structure and stuff made the whole album sounds like one big boring blur. In the end I didn't listen to it enough to include it in my list. Maybe I should try to get into the album song by song? :) Listening to Folklore now!
